Finally broke down and bought a box of Deadpool Chrome hobby on discount at my local LCS for $274.99!! Only two boxes left and took a gamble. Nova Refractor auto and some juicy hits. Deadpool tripping Wolverine to /25 is just too fun! Love this card. Great addition to the pc!
That 3 run bomb must have felt so good for Adael! I undertook he has struggled at the highest level but he has had so many flashes of greatness, let’s hope he can keep it up. I understand he may not be on the Roster long before getting sent back but he can definitely make a statement to keep him on the roster is he stays consistent with his bat!
Picked up this sweet Karros auto for depressingly cheap price and buddy of mine who is a huge Reds fan was at the game when they gave away the Hot Dog hat. I had to work, he picked it up for me. Honestly more stoked on the hat than any card I’ve picked up in while!

Living in Denver, CO this bad boy has been hard to come by. I feel like the good copies are hoarded. Ive seen for way less than $20 but they were almost all yellowish, with surface issues and bad corners. This bad boy does have a slight little dinger on top left corner, but the surface is clean and the edges are great. Centered not usually an issue with this card but this one seems pretty solid. No intention to grade but I am trying to get every Expos Larry Walker in my PC and here in Denver this is actually a tough find in decent condition.

I understand this season is still not where we would all like the Rockies to be. However the improvement to the team’s Pitching, Hitting and Morale is hard to ignore. You can see the players having fun and this is what the game is about. I for-see a great future with these young players and feel like they are getting close to contending at a level we can all support.
I backed off collecting my main PC quite a bit over last few years, however I found these from 3 different buyers and platforms! Received a few last week but got the Chrome Platinum today in mail. Bottom left is a Tiffany and middle is a desert storm. Bottom right wasn't something I planned to buy but he only wanted $20 shipped so I snagged that too!!

On May 18th 2024, I made the best decision ever by Self-Excluding myself for 6 years with the State of Colorado.
There are a lot of misnomers and misinformation about this all over the internet. I will go over just some basics and if you wish to know more I have a wealth of knowledge behind this.
Betting sites offer something known as a Self-Exclusion and apart from just a few sites, this can be extremely difficult to find. However, Self-Exclusion with one company is a great start (especially if it’s your favorite site) however it’s only a band aid on a bullet hole.
States and Provinces and many countries outside of North America also have Self-Exclusion or a version of it. If in doubt, reach out to your most local Gaming Commission (in my instance it was the State of Colorado). With this you can Self-Exclude yourself for a certain period of time. Most will be 6 months minimum up to 5 years. You can also choose options like Indefinite Self-Exclusion or Permanent/Lifetime Self-Exclusion. At the time I did mine I was only going to take 6 months and after literally weeks of continuous gambling and losing money, I finally settled on a 5 year. I will not be able to gamble anywhere while I am in the State of Colorado until
May 18, 2029.
By not being able to gamble this does not include smaller institutions or lottery. Bingo or illegal Bookies do not count. This means, when you scan your ID at a Casino, they will kick you out. This means if you log into a Sports book, you will not be able to deposit or place bets. If you try to open a new account, they will stop you. Obviously there are some ways around it but this can and likely will get you a lifetime ban with said company.
It’s fucking scary. As a 20 year compulsive gambler this was extremely hard to do. The thought of not being able to gamble sucks, the first half dozen times. Your mind will play tricks on you and you will regret it. This may cause other issues such as sadness, depression and anxiety. This will pass & especially if you get support. You will feel you made a mistake and this may or may not be the case but if you are truly unable to control your Gambling like myself. This is best case scenario.
Yes, this will all pass and life outside of Gambling will start to be better. Those hikes or ball games you missed because you didn’t have good enough internet to place bets.. You won’t miss. Birthdays and parties and other get togethers where you spend the entire time on your phone placing bets, will now be something you can enjoy. It will take time and it will hurt… until it doesn’t.
One year in and I have never felt better. I was taking SSRI and Benzos for my anxiety for years. No longer need them. I no longer worry about losing that big bet. I no longer dread not making that one bet. I no longer sit on my phone and wait for a good cash out.
At the end of the day it’s entirely on yourself. Yes you can have support from family and friends or help lines or through therapy. You need to make this decision & it should not be a decision made lightly. Maybe you had a small stretch of bad losses and want to tale a break away, you can do 6 months. Maybe you are like me and can’t control the urge and feel on when not Gambling there are longer options. Maybe you absolutely should never be allowed to gamble and there is an option for this as well.
At the end of the day you are likely not here and reading this if you have not had similar feelings or know someone similar. Ignoring this or downplaying this could lead you into financial harm or worse, health and mental problems.
