my must buys/favorite snacks

the real coco organic coconut water to me is top tier. it tastes creamy but refreshing like milk with fresh coconuts. it isnt too sweet or sour like other brands. i buy them in bulk and wish they had it in the taller bottles

picca dubai style chocolate. ive tried 4 other brands to see if i can get better than this one, and i run back to it each and every time. i doubted it and i am not going to stray from it anymore. this has the nutty flavor of pistachios and the right amount of kadayif /kataiki crunchies. the chocolate and pistachio filling ratio is perfect. some other brands give so little pistachio and its too much chocolate or its just not creamy/its not enough crunch inside. this one is 10/10. ive tried all the brands from walmart and target. i have not tried the 20$ amazon ones and i dont think i need to.

Mav Multisculpt Matte Liquid Colour in Stone

edit: I meant to type MAC not mav. sorry!

indoor lighting on unprimed nc15 skintone heavy swatched and blended

i love mac as a brand and especially lip products but this Stone liquid color was not it.

its extremely patchy and hard to work wit. it dries very quickly but even with the time the product takes to dry, it blends and doesnt adhere well to parts of my eyelids. i am applying on bare lids and ive tried 5 different brushes and my fingers and it comes out splotchy and "dirty". ive also tried to use only a tiny bit and not applying directly to the skin. the formula skips and catches on the lids where it sticks to certain areas and dont even think about building or layering because the 2nd layer will take off some of the 1st layer thats applied . the 4th photo is me trying to blend it after its semi dry to show that it dries quick in random areas but some parts will stay wet.

the color is really nice and the perfect nose contour and one and done eyeshadow, the formula is the part that i just cant make work.

armani eye tints were easier to blend and doesnt get as patchy, i hate returning items but ive tried 2 days of finessing this product and im working too hard for something that cost so much

saie "chilly" blush - why does this look so warm on my face

indoor lighting, no primer on nc15 skintone

1 light swipe and one heavy swipe going downwards

i got the mini to try and i hate it lol. it feels greasy and oily going on and the finish makes my skin look dirty? idk how to describe it. the color is also not mauve or cool toned as it looks on my hands. it looks neutral leaning warm rose on my skin without any cool tones whatsoever

Color Dupes: Mac Cool Spice & Glow Recipe Coconut Bingsoo

mac cool spice lip liner is the same color as glow recipe coconut bingsoo lip balm

i discovered this randomly today after getting coconut bingsoo. I put it on and it immediately reminded me of a gloss version of mac cool spice lip liner! the 2 are a perfect match in undertone and color

L is cool spice

R is coconut bingsoo

indoor lighting by the window on unprimed nc15 skintone with 1 swipe each

my closest foundation shades are : fenty 140, armani 1.5/4, mufe y225, nars ceylan/deauville, mac nc15/c1

matte neutral nude pink lip combo (loreal le nude rebellious 108 & revlon dynamic doer 006)

L- Loreal colour riche matte lipstick - 108 le nude rebellious

R- Revlon multi liner - 006 dynamic doer

indoor lighting, couple swipes each, no primer on NC15 skintone

my closest foundation shades are: Fenty 140, MUFE Y225, Mac face body C1;studio fix fluid NC15, Urban Decay 3.0, armani 1.5/4, nars deauville4/ceylan6

loreal 108 i have heard is a dupe for the og mac honeylove but i dont have that to compare. i also remember honeylove not working for me in the past so idk why this color does. i will say this lipstick smells exactly like mac lipsticks with the sweet marshmallow creamy vanilla scent. it is matte but not thick feeling and it applies thin without bunching up and feels smooth and isnt too dry or powdery. i have to say it does feel a lot like the original mac matte lipsticks. the packaging is heavy and luxe. made in usa and the bullet size reminds me of victoria beckham lipsticks

the color looks and swatches brighter on my hand than it is on the lips. i have issues with nudes either going too stark pale/pasty, too orange/warm or dull/ grey & washes out my face. this one i have found to be the perfect slightly muted neutral nude pink that isnt too purple or orange. it isnt super grey but it isnt saturated where it looks like a barbie pink. for example morphe bubble bath lip liner that looks muted on others looks super bright on my lips for some reason

the lip liner in dynamic doer by revlon pairs so well with this lipstick. i highly recommend anyone with similar skintone as mine to try this combo!!

colourpop ashton vs revlon 006 dynamic doer (lip liner comparison)

left is colourpop ashton right is revlon dynamic doer

i am mac nc15, fenty 140, armani 1.5/4, nars deauville/ceylan, mufe y225

multiple swipes back and forth to show color and i smeared the bottom of the swatches to show its depth in first photo. unprimed skin afternoon lighting near window indoor

i am light muted neutral(i think) - anything too cool toned looks purple/ashy and anything warm looks orange on my skin

ive been looking for nyx og nude beige dupe for awhile and i know ashton is a good alternative and i must say i dont like it as much or maybe my skintone has changed throughout the years. i might not need to find a dupe because i no longer need such a cool toned shade 🤷‍♀️

colourpop ashton - tried it on and its a bit too grey for me now. i think my skin has become more tanned or neutral. the grey of ashton is extremely ashy on my lips and it doesnt look natural and look like dirt or mustache on me. plus the CAP DOESNT STAY ON!!

revlon dynamic doer 006- this is a lot more longwearing because i am trying to swipe the swatches off and the revlon did not budge while the colourpop smeared easily. the color reminds me of og nyx nude truffle but slightly cooler. this color shows up very neutral on my lips and isnt too warm because i do find most shades turn orange or too bright on me(especially pinks and browns). i think this looks more natural without giving the mustache effect but also giving me a nice brown nude look that isnt too dark.

I have a type🍑🍧🪷

i am fair muted neutral olive & i love a tender apricot-peach-guava color story and these are my favorites that doesnt look orange

clio no.17 hermoine granger eyeshadow palette - very pretty and versatile with highlighting shades of both shimmer + matte, blush shades and deep brown eyeliner shade. the lilac lavender shimmer is also very cute to add some oomph

aztk jello blush in jc04 fig latte - looks muted pale pink but on the skin its more of a peach pink that makes my skin glow and look alive without being orange. it has a satin glow but also a blurring effect on my large pores on my cheeks. stays on all day with no issues of being patchy. i use it on bare skin.

shegalm happee birthdae harry blush - i got this for decor reasons and ended up loving the color on skin and bought 2 backups immediately. one is on my harry potter shelf as decoration and one i archived incase i finish this one, which i know isnt possible, but i cant be without it. its a guava peach similar to the aztk liquid blush above but in powder format. they brighten my complexion but isnt stark against my skintone. i actually prefer this type of color than the super pale lilac purple shades.

covergirl yummy gloss in coconuts about you- its clearish baby peach pink and the formula is A+. i have written an indepth review but i can say this is 10ml of product with 0 taste and smells like fruity coconuts that dissapates quickly. it isnt sticky and doesnt dry out lips and acts like a balm but looks like a glassy gloss that fills in the lip lines without being thick or goopey and lasts long. i first use rimmel brownie pie lip liner for depth and use this to add shine and hydration the apply the gloss below(nyx creme brulee) only in the center of lips for my everyday lip combo(under 15$). it keeps my lips nourished its a great base for other products because my lips are prone to peeling.

nyx butter gloss in creme brulee- i only use this to add color to the center of my lips after i applied the covergirl gloss above. if i use this alone, it does dry out my lips. the color is my perfect shade of pink without being orange or purple. ive tried almost every nude and pink shade in this range. i found eclair too bright/purple, tiramisu too mauve/deep, fortune cookie too patchy/pale, madeliene too boring beige(give me nothing), gingersnap too brown/patchy, butterscotch too warm, praline too dull grey(washed me out). 8ml of product for 5$, cant beat that honestly.

dark chocolate peanut butter cups

after years of seeing this item hyped up weekly on here i finally caved and got it.

i hate you all....its so damn good i regret ever tasting it because now i cant stop.

my husband who doesnt even like peanut butter cups is addicted to it and we share 1 cup so we only eat half of it to not feel guilty.

this is 1000000x better than that orange name brand which tastes like protein bars and leaves a sickly sweet nasty aftertaste that stays in the back of your throat. this, tsk tsk this is the real deal. it has smooth but realistic peanut flavor while the dark chocolate isnt bitter and the entire thing melts in the mouth and no yucky aftertaste. its addictiing like those costco caramel smores clusters that i banned from this household. i think i will need to ban these but im glad i tried it.

milani fruit fetish lip oil in honey fig

calling it quits. i am too lazy to get the stopper out. i finished this in 1.5 months. had to reapply a lot because it dissapears very quickly. i much prefer covergirl yummy glosses but the milani has better scents. also these milani lip oils have so little product i always go thru it extremely quickly like those huda fauxfiller glosses

covergirl yummy gloss "coconuts about you"

the most bang for your buck, non-drying & longwearing lip gloss

this formula is probably the best ive tried. my lips peel easily and a lot of glosses/balms make them drier as the day goes on. this isnt sticky at all but is slightly thicker in texture than milani lip oils and maybelline lifter gloss. ive tried every gloss and lip balm under the sun

it doesnt taste like anything which i like and smells like pina coladas. the scent isnt too strong(maybe because i like tropical scented things & my husband who hates all scented things actually told me he likes this scent) and the smell doesnt stay around too long. i find the texture to be perfect and i have sensorial issues where i hate goopey elmers glue thick and buttery greasy thin glosses. it also cant taste bad either or smell too sickly sweet(fenty, elf)

the color is "coconuts about you" which is clear with a hint of baby peach pink and it helps enhance the natural shade of my lips without adding much color. i can tell my lips look nicer with this than if i just used a completely clear color. this reminds me of makeup by mario gloss in rosewater

longevity is great. i calculated comparing it to milani fruit fetish lip oil which only lasted 25minutes total on the lips and elf lip reviver melting balm is even shorter life span. the covergirl lasts about 1 hour and my lips are smooth and doesnt feel or look dry after it does fade. ive had issues with even lip balms drying out my lips like eadem and summer fridays.

im extremely picky because i need a gloss that isnt sticky, wears/layers well on reapplication, 0 taste with a good smell and im happy to have found this and it is very affordable if you caculate price per gram. its a whopping 0.33oz / 10ml for 9$ and this is huge for a gloss. some glosses are 0.13oz for over 23$.

elf island colada = baskin robins pineapple coconut ice cream

ive been obsessed with tropical coconut scented things and this smells exactly like the pineapple coconut icecream from baskin robins. it is a big sweet tasting and it hits the back of my throat and i have coughed a couple of times using this lol. i stull prefer this scent over the vanilla soft serve(playdough-y) and blackberry(i hated this scent). the neutral white gold shimmers are subtle and doesnt feel gritty. these balms are fun but not very longwearing

i want to try other coconut scent lip balms that are more nourishing, please let me know which to try next!

edit - covergirl yummy gloss in coconuts about you reminds me of this scent but with more pineapple and zero flavor/taste.

after trying a billion squeezy tube lip gloss/balms, i had very low expectations. i think this is why i am impressed by this one.

scent/flavor: first and foremost, smores are one of my favorite snacks & id break a diet just to have one during summertime(4th of july). so i had to get this "flavor". this smells exactly like graham crackers to my nose. my son who is 5 years old says he smells chocolate+vanilla. it has a ever so slight sweet flavor but it doesnt hit the back of your throat like elf vanilla soft serve or that stevia flavor of patrick ta. the scent on this isnt sickly sweet and it doesnt linger or bother me. i found a lot of vanilla scented items to smell like playdough(laneige) and chocolate scented items to go rancid - real chocolate frosting smells a bit weird to me. this has 0 issues in the scent or taste department.

texture: this differs from most squeezy balms for me because usually they are marketed as a lip balm but is actually a lip gloss(glow recipe bingsoo). i find some have glass like shine and does not "nourish" the lips and leave them drier than before i put them on. this one has a cushion-y but comfortable not too thin not too goopey thick consistency. when i rub my lips together it isnt so slippery smooth as a ole henrisken and isnt dry thick like eadem. i have sensory issues and i find this to give me a true lip balm feel as the shine fades and isnt a gloss disguised as lip treatment.

color/longevity: completely clear, in the tube the product is clearish white. shine goes away fairly quickly but lips are left very soft and naturally healthy? if that makes sense, i dont feel like i need to reapply to feel hydrated. i feel this would be great as a priming lip balm before other lip products that does dry out lips. its nice as a base and i dont find it to pill or get stringy

packaging- the squishy tip applicator is not as curved as summer fridays so its in between SF and Ole Henrisken. its slanted and just slightly curved and fits lips without being uncomfortable

ingredient: marine glycoprotein - not sure what this does because i honestly didnt research and got it for the scent LOL. edit - ok so i found this is great for those with ezcma and dermatitis, but its derived from shellfish so those wirh allergies might want to be careful. i also found this is referred as lobster lip balm 😂

price / repurchase? - 0.5oz 14g for around 19$, it is in the middle range of this type of balms where i live. i think i would repurchase and try other flavors. i enjoy clear balms and the smell doesnt give me a headache and im very picky with scents/taste.

nc15 fenty 140 armani 1.5/4 indoor lighting one swipe each no primer

marin lip treatment balm in campfire smores - this smells exactly like graham crackers with hint of chocolate. the scent isnt too overpowering and it doesnt stay the whole time and dissapates quickly(unless i pucker my lips and sniff them). also it isnt so sweet where it hits the back of your throat(elf& covergirl). it has the same applicator to summer fridays but less curved tip, but the feeling of it is similar to paulas choice and morocanoil. it doesnt fill in the lip lines as well as moroncaoil but it has the same cushiony consistency. when i press lips together its not a goopey thick feeling but a lip balm like feel. its not as thin of a formula as summer fridays or laneige but its got some grip . its not sticky and the shine does go away fairly quickly. i feel like this isnt a typical "lip gloss marketting as glossy lip balm" and its an actual lip balm with shine. this has marine glycoproteins so i was intrigued. i find this to not make my lips feel dry as it fades and its very comfortable on the lips. if u like the scent of grahram crackers, this smells just like it sounds. not too sweet though so not too much marshmallow

persona lip liner in mauve - ive been screaming this on the moutaintops how good this color and formula is i think ive said enough. it is the most cool toned grey purple mauve that contours olive skintone and pale lips to perfection. its changed my life and i have not touched anything else. ive tried them all, some were too brown, too grey, too warm, too pink or orange. some twists up and down or is too expensive price per gram. this is truly a hidden gem and i wish all the cool toned olive girlys can try it.
