First PC build - Ryzen 5 9600X + RTX 5060, need PSU and overall build feedback

Putting together my first build, mostly for AAA gaming + some dev work.

Specs so far:

CPU: Ryzen 5 9600X

Motherboard: MSI B650M Bomber WiFi

RAM: 2x8GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (dual channel)

Storage: 1TB NVMe Gen4 SSD

GPU: RTX 5060 8GB

PSU (considering): MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5, 750W, 80+ Gold, fully modular, ATX 3.1, PCIe 5.1 support

I've read a few mentions of coil whine on the A750GL under heavy load & loud noise, anyone running this PSU able to confirm if it's a real issue in normal use, or just occasional unit variance?

Would you recommend it for this build, or is there a similarly priced Gold-rated alternative I should look at instead (Corsair RM750e, Seasonic Focus GX-750, etc.)?

But at max I'd put a ₹8-8.5k ~ 87-90$ budget on psu!

Also open to any other feedback on the build itself - anything you'd swap, any bottlenecks you're seeing between the 9600X and RTX 5060, or anything I'm missing for a clean first build.

Also will I be able to get aa 1440p with this build?

Thanks in advance!

Bought a motherboard from "Clicktech Retail Pvt Ltd" on Amazon India - non-returnable, seller has scam complaints. Cancel or keep?

Ordered the MSI B650M Bomber WiFi motherboard for ₹8,736 from a seller called Clicktech Retail Private Ltd on Amazon.in. Price seemed great, noticeably below other listings for the same board.

I see negative comments on the retailer should I keep the order or cancel it ?

First build plan. Looking for some feedback.

Hey everyone,

I'm planning my first ever PC build and would love to get some feedback before I start buying parts.

My initial thought is to go with AM5 since this will be a completely new build, and I'd like something that's reasonably future proof. If you think AM4 is still the better value in 2026, I'd love to hear your reasoning.

The main goal initially is general day-to-day use, learning, light gaming, and hopefully some GTA V using the CPU until I can afford a dedicated GPU.

Current parts list:

Ryzen 5 7600X

Decent B650 motherboard

1TB NVMe SSD

650W 80+ Bronze PSU

Deepcool AK400 SE Digital cooler

8GB DDR5 RAM (temporary untill the prices go down)

**To keep costs down, I'll be using the CPU and a single ddr5 8GB RAM stick for now.** The plan is to upgrade fairly soon to (once prices go down and we get a fair deal):

\- 32GB DDR5 (6000MHz CL30)

\- A dedicated GPU (haven't decided which one yet but max it would be in Rtx 4000series)

My thinking is that AM5 gives me a good upgrade path, so I'd rather invest in a solid platform now and add the GPU/RAM later as funds allow.

Does this seem like a sensible foundation, or would you change anything? Also, if you've used the 7600X, how was your experience with games like GTA V while waiting for a graphics card?

Also, how do the top-tier AM4 Ryzen 5 CPUs compare to the current AM5 Ryzen 5 lineup? For example, is the Ryzen 5 7600X still the better choice overall compared to a high-end AM4 chip like the Ryzen 5 5600X3D, especially for someone building a new system today?

One more thing, I'm new to PC building, but I've been checking out different gaming PC builds here and there and trying to learn as much as I can.

Appreciate any advice or suggestions. Thanks, mates! 🍻

**IMPORTANT: I don't want any single component to become a bottleneck for future upgrades like for gpu/RAM.**

Need some advice from the PC masters here

If you had a ₹50-60k to build a gaming PC right now (in June 2026), what parts would you pick?

I'm completely new to PC building, so I'm trying to get the best bang-for-buck parts available right now. Mainly looking to game at 1080p-2k with good FPS, clock speed and have something that'll last me a few years.

What CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, SSD, PSU, and case would you recommend in this budget?

Also, if there are any parts I should avoid or upcoming releases worth waiting for, I'd love to know.

Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, mates.

need a tool that sets off an alarm when i receive email from certain senders

hello! hoping someone here can point me towards what i'm after

in my work, i have a couple of clients who offer me potential assignments on tight deadlines that can come at any time of day/night. if i'm sleeping or otherwise don't notice their emails hitting my inbox within a relatively short timeframe, they give them to a different contractor. so i'm looking for some way to set off a ringtone or alarm, on either my phone or computer, but ideally both, that won't stop notifying me until dismissed, and on/y for these few senders - not for all mail that hits my inbox. does anyone know if such a thing exists? I'm a python dev. Thanks!
