I know options are the potential buying or selling 100 shares of a company and watching the price of the individual stock going up or down, but what’s the difference between shorts and Put options? I know puts are assuming/guessing the stock goes down a certain amount, but from what I understand a short is borrowing a stock from your broker and selling it, but I don’t know the exact short position. If someone has a good YouTube vid to watch that explains it or would comment with how they do shorts or the short information on exactly what they are, it would be appreciated

If you buy an option where the price of the stock is say $100 but tomorrow they split the stock and it drops to $50 does that still count , or is it adjusted for the split?

So still learning about options and wanted to know opinions on how to deal with them when they’re where you want them to be. I know there is 3 paths to take, sell to close (selling it to the market), exercise (you either get to sell 100 shares or buy at strike price) or roll it over ( from what I understand is selling your current option and buy a new one). Which one do you guys prefer or is your go-to?

I bought two contracts of puts for the panic sell I’m anticipating tomorrow after the 911 million shares get opened up and am curious if you guys did as well?

My IONQ stock is doing much better today and went from $55 on Friday to $63 today and seems to be having much better press as well!! That shit needs to run to the moon!!

Apart from the extended hours on Sunday , does the market freeze on the weekends or does it still ebb end flow as normal? My Robinhood app shows very small movements like a couple Pennie’s or so but not like normal. I’m a noob fyi

I have a question, and as the title says, about destruction but not just any destruction but merciless destruction lol! I don’t know about you guys but I destroy a lot of shit in my merc warpath just as that poor farmers wheat fields and also his bullshit water tower that got in my way because I was too lazy to move out of the way! Those damn pesky windmills always being threatening, needed to be put down or they’d attack me when my back is turned! I REALLY want to know if you guys just randomly destroy shit as much as I do ?! I’ve probably caused trillions in damages by now in just random, wanton, and all together unnecessary but ultimately fun destruction lol

I have seen a bunch of posts lately about how does ai have a bunch of bullet holes here or here and not die, so I wondered to myself. I bought a bunch of tracers and wanted to find out for myself. The bullet tracers are wild and I recommend you guys see for yourself. Watch the bullets ricochet off dudes, walls, their weapons, etc. it’s cool to actually see how they react and it’s eye opening. I recommend you guys try it yourself.
