EDP445 - anti-porn ad

If you are struggling or think you are in a bad way, look no further than this doco about EDP445. This documentary shows a depraved mind with a backstory all too similar to most (myself included).

I suggest watching this and letting it rerun like a podcast, or watch other channels/streamers react to it. I haven't engaged in the activity since its release.

What was the point of the Chapter 1141 title?

Not really a theory, watch this become a complete nothingburger. This chapter has always stayed in the back of my mind in hopes that it might be referenced again. I haven't finished the manga volumes pre-Egghead so I am unfamiliar with his chapter naming patterns/schemes, but does he often drop red-herrings?

Asides from characters going from A to B, some conversations, and Loki getting up at the end, there was no reason for this chapter to be called 'An Older Woman' other than humour. (Pic 1-2)

Around that time, people theorised that Imu was a woman since, logically, they would be older than Jarul.

Theories of Imu's gender is not completely disregarded but, for the time being, we can confirm that Imu is a male.

So what was the point of the title? Here are two of my 'reaches';

  1. Zaza (Pic 3) - although a piece of Killingham's nightmares, Zaza is technically the oldest woman currently as she may have came from before the Void Century. So perhaps the chapter was foreshadowing?

  1. Brook - there are three parallels between Jarul and Brook.

1.) In recent chapters, Brook is crushing on the Queen of his Kingdom, who is a woman older than himself (Pic 4).

2.) Later down the line, he will get a scar deep enough to pierce his skull. The placement of his scar is similar to where Harald's sword is in Jarul's head (Pic 5-6).

3.) Brook is the oldest of the Straw Hats, Jarul is the oldest of the Giants.

This discussion might be pointless, but I do hope the older woman bit gets referenced again. In the meantime, what did Oda mean by this? Am I reaching?

Ring/Halo Theory

After Imu and Zaza's reveal I believe that the ring/halo on their backs is possibly in relation to the One Piece. More specifically, Nika's Ring is what's waiting on Laughtale.

I believe that Nika's Ring is the One Piece for a few reasons:

- The complete rings on Imu/Zaza shows that there are levels to this shi

- The way Imu uses the ring reminds me of Gear 5 Luffy

- Zaza confirms that all divine beings have a complete ring

- Devil fruits are a mere imitation; their hagoromo scarves are 'incomplete'

This brings me back to the One Piece. Why would Nika's ring be a big deal? Unlimited wealth, fame and power. The ring could literally give you everything you can imagine and more - you can share the power with your friends.

Then why did Roger laugh? The ring is sentient. What could be more hilarious than a ring being goofy and having a mind of its own (like Clippy or the ring from that one 'Little Einstein episode).

Why were they too early? The ring is picky like Ragnir, and is waiting for the right person to challenge them and win.

Then how come there hasn't been reference to the ring in any of the source materials of the void century? The ring can change shape, and was the sword/spear and shield. It could even be the Sun, the straw hat, or where the "D" initial came from.

How did Joyboy get it and why did he leave it on Laughtale? The ring could have been the progenitor to devil fruits. The ancient kingdom perhaps stole it to use for their own gains, hence why Joyboy became a pirate.

These rings may have also been staring us in the face. The First World section of the Harley describes the Earth God and their Hellfire Serpent being enraged. The Serpent may have been the Earth God's ring that was also sentient. But, an event would happen that would turn the Earth God's ring into the Red Line.

There was also a discussion that there is a hint in the One Piece logo (unconfirmed). Look at the O. Make of it as you will.
