2021 Xtreme Outdoors Little Guy Mini
I have an opportunity to buy this from good friends. She and her husband purchased it new a few years ago for $30K and added some stuff bringing their out of pocket to close to $40k. They’ve used it minimally during this time, husband went for it pretty much for her, he never liked camping before that and after a few or several outings has said he’s done, can’t deal with backing it up, etc., or hooking it up to vehicle (and doesn’t enjoy the trips). They believe they’ll be lucky to get $18-19K for it, less if they have to off it to a dealer. Meanwhile, we’ve got a GM Savannah van with a futon and small fridge, relatively uncomfortable but adequate / acceptable for van camping with 2-4 night trips in state. Hubby thinks it will be too much trouble, like an anchor weight and we shouldn’t. I think it might be really good, we know and trust our good friends so there’s little (no) concern re: trusting what they say, it’s essentially new, and heck $18-20K! We’ve got a driveway that can accommodate it. Sure, maybe we won’t use it too much, but who knows?! What do you think? Thanks very much, no rush replies. 🏕️👋🏼
Cannot handle swimming due to water in ears. Help!!!
I know I’ll get very few replies to this because it sounds lame, but here goes… I live in a semi-rural area, have had a long history of wax buildup in ears, no ENT’s in my area, and swimming has resulted in seriously exacerbating the ears issue. Swim cap, ear plugs, ear covers, individually and all combined, nothing worked. Now I just don’t go swimming and I’m completely bumming (and lazy to boot!).
Please, please, please!!! Any suggestions that have any hope of dealing with this?
Thank you 🙏🏼🏊♂️
If you were to buy a new Acura (say budget $40-90K), what would you buy?
I totaled and “Junked” my 1994 Acura Integra (321,255 miles) in the rain this past April (no injuries, $8-10k damage, other car was a 1994 Toyota truck with rear bumper damage only, and no insurance issues as not reported). It was the only new car I ever owned. Paid $21K give or take for it in October 1993.
I can afford a new car if I choose to go that route and certainly would consider an Acura. After such a huge success with my former baby, I’m thinking several things: first, buy a used car with a reputation for a super long life, etc. (various standout options with Toyota and Honda) and, second, buy a new or used Acura with an excellent reputation.
I’ve heard over the past decade plus that there are / were some Acura models, makes, & years that just didn’t cut it - what are those?
And, what are the absolute standout star Acura models, makes, & years, including new ones, that I should have on my list (please rank as well).
No rush at all to reply to this and thank you very much for your Acura knowledge & guidance. 👋🏼⭐️
What the heck is this new Alphabet stock - GOOGM???
I saw this new GOOGM ticker cross the tape today and can’t find anything about it, other than it looks to be a new Alphabet stock that has only been trading for days or weeks. What is this???
