Hello! I recently started buying physical books, and I really want to start annotating them while I read. I know some people don’t like writing in books, but I think it’s fun to make notes, highlight lines I like, and just interact with the story a little more.

The only issue is that I’m honestly terrified of ruining my books. I don’t want ink to bleed through the pages or highlighters to leave marks that look messy. Does anyone have any recommendations for gel pens and highlighters that work well for books? I’d prefer things I can find in stores or on Amazon, but I’m open to anything that’s worked for you.

For fandom RPs, I really enjoy OC x CC and I like doing double ups. I also try pretty hard to keep characters accurate to how they are in the original media, and I’d really appreciate the same from my partner.

For OC-based RPs, I enjoy character-driven stories, especially things like psychological thrillers and emotional or angsty storylines. I also like lighter ideas too, like slice of life or more wholesome dynamics. I’m pretty open to ideas as long as they fit that general vibe, so feel free to pitch anything.

As for writing, I’d say I’m semi-lit depending on what’s going on in the story, but even on the shorter side I usually aim for around 4 to 6 paragraphs per response.

My main idea is a Golden Retriever Girl × Black Cat Girl dynamic, with me playing the Golden Retriever character. I want something that’s emotionally intense with a lot of drama, conflict, and character development.

I’m hoping for a long term roleplay where we can really take our time building the characters and their relationship as well as the world around them. I like stories that develop naturally and grow over time rather than being fully planned out from the start. (But I don’t mind planning things from the start)

I also really enjoy collaborative worldbuilding and coming up with ideas together as we go.

I’m specifically looking for a fem × fem pairing since I’m not really interested in masc characters. I prefer feminine dynamics and would like both characters to lean more femme.

I’m into darker, angst heavy plots and while my main idea is the Golden Retriever × Black Cat dynamic, I’m also open to things like Strip Club Owner × Worker, Manager × Camgirl, Manager × Actor/Actress, or mafia inspired settings.
