More Dark Age Irish tonight. Thought I’d “grow up” and have a go at hand painting some shield designs on this lot.
I must say that they turned out better than I expected so hopefully the next 30 or so I do will get better & better!!! 🤣

Finally got round to painting the Hugo Raleigh figure I got with my copy of the Pike & Shotte rules from warlord games.
A few WSS French this evening, it’s nice to paint something different although I’m not sure I’d like to do many more!! 28mm figures from Front Rank.
Well that’s the Persians based up and a couple of pictures of the two units together.
I think it’s the spara that I’m not sure of and IF I do any more I’ll do them all with tan/brown trousers and maybe different shields. But that’s IF I do any more!!!
