I don't know what to do

I can't stop thinking about The Master. I have never found a film quite like it. I would rewatch, but I've watched it twice this year. Does anyone have any suggestions for a film with similar vibes that is not from Robert Altman? ( I've seen his while filmography)

C'mon C'mon and the Mike mills boxset

So, I want C'mon C'mon on criterion, but the only way to get is to buy the Mike mills boxset. Is it worth it? Its the only film of his that I've seen. Should I watch the two other films before I purchase it, or just go for it? Tell me your thoughts.

Nicole Kidman

I want to watch Nicole Kidman's filmography, but I dont know how to do it. I have only watched two ( technically 3 because she was in panic room for 3 seconds) which were To Die For, and Cold Mountain. I am struggling to find a best of list, so could anyone give me some of her best films, or an order of anything.

This is the worst thing I have ever seen

People are allowed to have their own opinion, but this is too far. I genuinely hope that this is just lifeless clickbait. If this is your own opinion okay, but keep it to yourself.

Here is their ranking:

  1. Licorice pizza ( Hard eight exists)

  2. Hard eight (okay)

  3. Inherent Vice ( finally, its so underrated)

  4. The Master ( How?)

  5. There will be blood ( How?)

  6. Punch Drunk love ( this would be okay if it weren't for the 2 behind it)

  7. Magnolia ( okay)

  8. Phantom Thread ( Great)

  9. One battle (no)

  10. Boogie Nights ( good)

My personal one is :

  1. The Master
  2. Punch Drunk Love
  3. There will be Blood
  4. Phantom Thread
  5. Boogie Nights
  6. Magnolia
  7. One Battle After another
  8. Licorice pizza
  9. Inherent Vice
  10. Hard eight

Please let me know your opinions on this article, as well as your ranking.

What would you like to be the next PTA film?

I want a physchological thriller about the jazz industry, kind of like a mix between The Master and Boogie nights. The storyline would be about a music producer and a singer who clash, but are forced to work together for a year because of a contract. I doubt it will ever happen, but I would live to see Denzel ( he was in talks about a film with PTA 👀) as the musician and Jake Gylenhaal as the producer, and bringing back John C. Reily and Joaquin Phoenix

What do you personally want to see from him?

PTA 2027

PTA in 2027. No films likely. But, I noticed that 5 of his films are having anniversaries.

Boogie Nights- 30

Punch drunk love - 25

There will be blood - 20

The Master - 15

Phantom Thread - 10

I thought this was a cool coincidence.

Punch-Drunk Love

To Die For

... And Justice For All

To Die For

The Long Goodbye

Sometimes I switch ... And Justice For All for any Kubrick film I like at that time. What do you think of it, and what suggestions would you give

Marty Supreme and Uncut Gems

I have a theory. A film theory about uncut gems and Marty supreme. Howard Ratner is Marty Mausers son. You might say, what do you have to back this up? Everything.

First thing, the names. You might say, " Not the right last name" What is the last two letters in their names? E and r. Then you have Ratn and Maus. Rat and Mouse? What did Tyler the creator call him? Mouse. Exactly.

Another layer to this is the baby. Look at the photos I have. It looks a lot like Adam Sandler huh? Thats weird, must be a coincidence. No. Thats because it is him. How look at the baby with Adam Sandlers face on it. Uh huh.

The third reason. Rachel has curly hair. You know who else does? Howard Ratner. Coincidence, I dont think so.

The fourth, and final reason of millions. Remember when marty brings home the rock from the pyramid? What if, that rock was gifted to Howard, and that started his fascination with rocks.

Please help the people know if you have anything more to add.
