Enjoy

Reddit made me do it. Somebody take the dremel lol. When cutting the bed off, there was a large void at the back of the cab and had to come up with something. Shaved it down and glued er on. This whole crawler thing is kinda fun I guess

My first crawler.

The crawler went under the knife, to gain some tire clearance, today. No more rubbing.

Howdy

New to gdh crawling community, come from bashland. Went small to try it out, quickly found it fun! Went from a stock $99 rig, to 300…. This thing is rad as fuck. 29mm shocks on the way to accommodate the 41mm treads. Last move is to mate the topped out chassis to a Furitek tube cage. If there’s any other full tube chassis manufacturers, please let me know!! Enjoy

Birthday

It’s alive. I’ve been slowly working on this for a bit. Began its life as a silver Losi micro t. After upgrading all the suspension, I went looking for chsssis upgrades. There weren’t many options. I found myself stumbling into hackfabs oval/omni conversions and was intrigued. I took the dive and went for it and I’m beyond stoked. Last steps are to program esc(rev/fwd are flipped) and mont the body. I went with the back fav 1/18 modified truck. Overall I can’t wait to rip this thing. I have another micro t that definitely see myself doing this to again. Have a great evening yall

Hobbywing 1626

Going brushless in my micro T. Noticing that the shaft diameter on the hobbywing 1626 motor is 1.8mm. Very odd size imo. Where are we sourcing a pinion gear? Thanks for the help in advance

The final product

After about a month of trial and error, I give you, the rocket grom. 3000kv 3s spektrum motor, castle sidewinder4. Stock kraton 24/59 gearing. This thing is ridiculous and even 50% throttle.

Meshing

Finally got the powertrain dialed where I want it, 3000kv 3s mini kraton motor, paired with a castle sidewinder 4. Going with stock kraton gearing. Have a little trouble meshing the 24/59. It rolls, but it’s real tight. I can get it dialed but once the center brace is installed, the mesh alignment changes. Running the Amazon adjustable motor mount. Any advice is helpful. Much love

SX114

Newer to the community so not fully knowledgeable. My mini kraton a servo took a shit, replaced it. At first all was well bashed it, wheels froze burnt up.
Had a couple servos in the house. This happened to me 2 times burning up a total of 3 servos. What am I doing wrong? Do the SX114 burn up quick?

Ground up

Building Mojave 6s from ground up. Have diff cases and suspension mounted.
Im kind oflooking for a mojaviton? Low almost street basher.
I don’t ever do any crazy jumps or deep mudding. Mostly front/back/schoolyard. Some dirt track, but flat.
Can I use two front shock towers to lower the body height? Would it work properly?

Pros and cons of locking diffs?

Mojave 6s chassis.

Front diff/driveshaft delete.

Thought about locking both center diff and rear diff. The most direct drive.

Need help verifying which belt system to purchase for the Mojave 6s(XLWB). Looks to me as the only variant is the shaft length. Help
