I had an unbranded alcohol marker lying around, and I liked how the combination of using it as a base for colored pencil turned out. But I have no intention of drawing only with markers, so expensive brands like Copic seem like a nonsense to me. Is there any recommendation you have?
I don't know why the moderators allow this behavior, but every day I see someone supposedly hiring artists, and when I read it, all they're doing is trying to scam you with a business deal, or directly ask for free stuff. It disgusts me that they treat artistic work as if it's nothing. You're the one who wants art. It's not a basic need, it's WORK, and work GETS PAID. Get that through your head. Work is time, and life time is so short for anyone to be wasting it on someone who doesn't even appreciate what they're asking for.
