[Dellenger] The Texas Attorney General sent a formal letter to the Big 12 today alerting the conference that Texas Tech would take action against any league sanction.

Texas Tech is speed running us toward an SEC/B1G super league. The Big 12 must act.
Several SEC and B1G teams are being told to not schedule Texas Tech, in any sport, and the ones that have them scheduled are being given the greenlight to cancel those games.
It's not a massive leap in the argument for the SEC and B1G to suggest that the product from "lesser" conferences is a problem for their conferences and their members, and that they should focus on scheduling schools that can be trusted to act in the sport's best interest. That will coincidentally mean just them, and like 4-6 more schools they're simultaneously poaching from the Big12 and ACC, none of which will be Tech who has now killed their hopes of getting the call.
If the Big12 wants to slow this process down, they must immediately defend the integrity of at least their own conference and sanction Tech at tomorrow's meeting. Each member would probably be wise to publicly align themselves with the opinions of the SEC and B1G on this too.
