Little Canada is an amazing exhibition of miniaturized 1:87 scale cities of Canada. I was practicing photography there, and took this shot without thinking too much. Now I think it looks like it could be a town from an octopath game.
The Gundam Remaster Project has been announced in the Gundam Conference livestream just this morning. While no more details have been shared, I'm thinking what exactly they can do to further remaster the current version of 0079 without changing anything substantial that would turn it into a remake, as I feel like scanning and resolution wise it's already pretty good.
So I'm thinking by remaster, they could mean it's like an overhaul to the line of SEED HD Remaster, where the general direction remains the same but only the visuals are fixed and/or expanded which was mostly what happened with SEED.
If that is the case, I hope they follow Gundam One Year War for the PS2's direction where it's proven the original visual style and atmosphere can be authentically replicated more than 20 years after the show first aired. (Although in the game there were only stills and not actually animated, but that's because it was already running on a tight budget.)
Man. I'm not nearly old enough to be able to watch OG Gundam when it first aired, but being a fan of this franchise certainly has been an emotional journey. What a fantastic short anime.
I want to describe how some people believes there's a way about how things ought to be, and they try to enforce it or at least complain when things change, as opposed to simply adapting and accepting things what they are now, and describes these changes without bias or prejudice.
It's very similar to the linguistic concept of descriptivism and prescriptivism, but these terms I believe apply to those ideas and aren't (yet) meant to describe people.
Does such word exist? Should I just say prescriptivist regardless of its proper usage?
The bottom half is a massive parking lot in a car dependent suburb in Canada btw. This is the only way this place can look pretty ever lmfao
(Edit: oh man the compression is really bad lol)
