It's actually really simple, and of course nobody is thinking about this because we are all stupid humans.

Alright so its extremely simple. Right now A.I is not very effecient. It takes a ton of powerful GPUs to run A.I at scale and we as a species are scaling up like there is never going to be any advancements when it comes to running A.I more effeciently.

So imagine it's a few years from now. We have a ton of GPU centers running these insane amounts of AI software and suddenly one day the technology comes out which can run all the same AI models but with something like 100x, 1000x, 100000x the effeciency. Everybody starts implementing this new tech and so all of a sudden AI becomes thousands of times more powerful, intelligent, ect overnight.

People will say no this is impossible but if you know how ineffecient AI is to run right now then you may agree with me.
