Crystal Legacy Bugs only Playthrough

The next step in my journey of playing through every Gen with only Bug Pokemon (not only bug types but also other bugs and closely related animals)
This is my first time playing the hack, and gen 2 in general, so I first have to say that this hack is a great experience and all the new features and changes make the game feel so much better.

The hard mode of this Game really is true to its name, espacially in comparison with Yellow Legacy. The first gym was still not that hard but still very fun. After that I had really struggled with the second and third gym and even more with the second Rival fight. I lost like 5 times to the RIval because he ressisted most moves I had at that point. Then there was Morty... who wiped the floor countless times because I still had very little damage output and his sleep shenanigans combined with a just really strong Gengar made my hope fly away.
After that gruesome part I was quite relieved that the rest of the game was quite a bit easier, thanks to lads like Scizor, Yanma and Kingler (Yes, crabs are part of the team, don´t harass them) joining the team.

The Elite Four was also no challenge for my Team but Lance... yeah beat me down even harder than Morty. Flying Types, Charizard, ZAPDOS(??) and two Dragonites, sounds like a recipe for disaster for my bugs.

Before I get to the MVPs I want to shoutout Shuckle the GOAT, I´m very bad at using you, please forgive me for putting such a divine being in the hellspace that is the PC :<.

Kingler was a real good damage dealer with Water type moves like Surf and the even stronger Crabhammer plus Pink Bow Return did the job with mons not weak to water.

The other non bug type was Gligar and with his stupidly strong and surprisingly fast Earthquakes and the somewhat useful Hidden Power Rock and Wing Attack really helped me dealing with the fire, rock and flying types that bullied the other members of the team.

Heracross was also in the team... yeah that´s kinda it. Didn´t really do that much damage, although late game Megahorn and Earthquake were quite nice. Idk if I missed any TMs or something but not having a fighting type move really lessened their impact.

Ariados was kinda similiar, just a lesser version of Yellow Legacy Venomoth tbh. They also got better in the endgame with Megahorn, Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain and Psychic, but it was just too little too late.

Scizor. What? Do I need to say it? Of course they´re great. Absurd bulk and damage just the GOAT of Gen 2 bug types and they also were the key to defeating Lances lead Gyarados. He was the only one who could stand up to him with Agility, Swords Dance and Headbutt (Idk if there was a better option).

But there was one suprise carry on the team, who in my opinion is even better than his later to be introduced evolution. Yanma is just ridiculous in this game. Very fast with early hard hitting Wing Attack and Twinneedle and the occasionally used twister. I can´t remember him getting outspeed by anything that wasn´t a Electrode. He was the supreme revenge killer and without him I would probably still be here getting rekted by Lance. I always like the little one but in this Hack he is the biggest of them all.

All in all this was yet another great experience that was only made possible by all the people who helped putting this hack together and I want to give them my biggest thanks again!

Also to everyone who knows the nickname theme, you are extremly cool, good looking and knowledgeable!

Offensive Volcarona Team Building

Just got Master Ball Tier with this team, but I'm still not sure if this is the ideal team for an offensive Volcarona.

A lot of changes have happened to the team the last few days. Grimmsnarl, Mega Floette, and almost even Mega Scovillain, among others, were on the team but have been discarded due to lacking or non-existent usage.

Also been thinking about a more defensive spread for Raichu, just not sure how to do it because this thing is thin like paper.

I think the members of the team are pretty well rounded, and all have their important usecases. The lack of Tailwind kinda sucks sometimes, but I had it on Aero and always felt like I wished for Protect instead.

There's enough opportunities for Vol to set up, but it obviously struggles with Charizard, which can be tricky if Aero or Raichu faint early.

In the end, I think the team came together pretty well, I'm not the best teambuilder, tho so I would really appreciate some adjustment suggestions for my fav girl Vol to shine even brighter!
