What are everyone’s thoughts on Michigan’s new wolf study?

Curious what other Michigan hunters, especially those hunting the U.P., think about the new DNR wolf study.

Are you seeing more wolves or wolf sign where you hunt? And how much of an impact do you think wolves are actually having on the deer population compared to winter, habitat, and hunting pressure?

We recently broke down the study on DFB Outdoors, but I’d like to hear what everyone else is seeing and thinking.

🎣 Starting the Michigan Trout Challenge — What waters should we add to the list?

🎣 Starting the Michigan Trout Challenge — looking for your recommendations

We’ve put together a list of rivers, streams, and creeks across Michigan that we want to explore, but we’re always looking to add new and uncharted waters to the adventure.

The goal is to experience as many of Michigan’s trout fisheries as possible, discover new places, and share the journey along the way.

What rivers, streams, or hidden gems do you think deserve to be on the list? 👇

We’re documenting the challenge and will be sharing the episodes as we work our way through Michigan’s trout waters.

Small Potatoes, Big Milestone: 177 Subscribers

I know we’re still small potatoes, but we’re pretty proud of this milestone.

A few months ago, we started our outdoor channel with no real clue what we were doing. Today we’re sitting at 177 subscribers, and our goal is to reach 500 by the end of the year.

We’re learning as we go, making mistakes, trying new things, and having a blast doing it. Just wanted to share a win with fellow creators who understand the grind.

If anyone has tips for getting from 177 to 500 subscribers, I’d love to hear them. And if our content looks like something you’d enjoy, we’d be grateful if you checked it out.

Thanks to everyone who’s supported us so far—we’re pretty ecstatic about the progress.

Hey everyone,

We’re a small outdoor YouTube channel made up of six best friends who spend most of our time hunting, fishing, camping, and filming our adventures together. Each of us brings something different to the channel — from waterfowl and whitetails to turkey hunting and backcountry trips.

We’ve been putting a lot of effort into consistently filming and posting, but we’ve hit that stage where growth just isn’t keeping up with the work we’re putting in. It’s been tough seeing other small creators grow while we feel kind of stuck in place, even though we’re trying to stay consistent and improve every video.

We’re not looking for shortcuts — just honest feedback from other small creators who’ve been in the same spot. If you’ve got tips on what actually helped you break through (titles, thumbnails, Shorts strategy, anything really), we’d seriously appreciate it.

And if you enjoy outdoor content or want to support a small group of friends trying to build something real, feel free to check us out and subscribe. It genuinely helps more than we can explain at this stage.

Either way, appreciate anyone who takes the time to read this and share advice. We’re just trying to learn and keep improving
