AITA for Getting Mad at My BF for Being Late

my boyfriend and i have been dating for the past year. we're in the same college doing our masters.

like most relationships we've also had our fair share of ups and downs but very recently (a few days ago) we talked about trying to make things right between us.

here is where the problem starts:

  1. my bf liked to sleep with me on call. overtime i developed that habit, and now i have trouble sleeping if he isn't there with me on call. every night i ask him when he'll call me (since he also sits with his friends for a while before calling me). he told me he'll call me at 2:30am which was fine by me. at 2:30am he messaged me saying he'll take 10 more mins and then didnt call me for over an hour. i was the one who had to call him.

  2. i've told him innumerable times now to drop me a text if he's tied up with something since i am the one usually waiting for him. when the same thing got repeated today and he called me giggling (because he had smoked) and saying sorry it's not a big deal i got very annoyed. he has a habit of apologising and repeating the same thing again and again so at this point his apology doesnt mean much to me.

  3. you might ask why is it that i dont sit with my friends? for atarters, my friends dont live in my hostel. they are also my boyfriend's friends so they're all usually together while i'm alone. furthermore, i did have 1-2 friends in my hostel but i lost them due to an issue arising between them and my boyfriend. that didn't matter much to me since they weren't close friends exactly, however i did lose friends by taking my boyfriend's side - which he is very well aware of, and also accepts.

  4. last year when we started dating my bf was head over heels for me. i on the other hand had gone through a very messy and traumatic breakup, and was still getting over the entire trauma of that. my bf knew this, and was after me to get into a relationship with him. i did tell him that it'll take me some time to recover also, and he happily agreed saying he'll help me out. later, he used the same things against me in an argument saying that he was serious about me, talked about the possibility of a future together and i'd always change the topic. now my reasoning for that was - we had just started dating, and i wasn't over the trauma induced from my previous relationship. now, after 1 year together when i try to discuss our future he says that since i wasn't sure then and wouldn't answer him, so now he won't do either. that he fought for me and now i'll have to do that. it's more of a tit for tat game for him at this point i feel.

  5. i am his first girlfriend, however obviously he's not my first boyfriend. i would use that to initially excuse his behaviour, however now i can't.

  6. it's our last year in college, and so as per him he wants to enjoy this time with his friends as much as he can before they get scattered across the country because of their jobs. as a result, he wants to have fun with them and give me less time because in his words "i was a poor investment of his time" because last year when he did give me all his time and energy i wasnt ready for it. he also went through my notes app and read my diary and accused me of keeping count of every single mistake he made because whenever i'd feel sad/upset over something i'd write that down in my notes app (since there wasnt anyone else whom i could talk to). this was while i was going through a depressive phase all alone.

i dont know what to do anymore. i feel like crying. i also feel so stupid asking strangers on the internet for help.

Rakhi Shopping Spree 💗

Posting here after a long time. Big brother took me out for a rakhi shopping spree. I'm wearing a padded Uniqlo top which is very comfortable and works with pretty much every outfit of mine. The skirt is a Zara micro mini denim skirt and I totally love the silhouette it give me. The heels I'm wearing are platform heels from Theater and they're so chic. Recently purchased these heels and they go so well with almost all of my skirts.

Top: Uniqlo

Stanza Como House Is An Absolute Nightmare

If you're ever looking for a PG in Koramangala, never ever opt for Stanza Living. They have, by far, the worst management I've ever dealt with.

  1. The move-in disaster: Before I shifted to the PG, my mother was in touch with a Stanza executive who repeatedly assured her that he'd always be available if anything came up. The move-in date I'd given them wasn't reflected correctly on the app. I brought this up beforehand and was told it wasn't an issue at all and that I'd be able to move in on the date I'd mentioned.

Cut to the day I actually arrived. Suddenly, I was told that the date on the app was the actual move-in date and I couldn't move into my room because the electricity connection would only work from the next day—which, conveniently, was the date on the app.

And this was the exact same guy who had assured my mother that moving in earlier wouldn't be an issue.

When I asked them for a solution, they very reluctantly shifted me into some other girl's room for the night.

  1. The hygiene is absolutely disgusting. There is rotting food left around the mess area, with mice running around everywhere. I've genuinely seen rats the size of cats in this place. The entire property is filthy.

There was also an open sewer right in front of the PG. Literally at the entrance, fecal matter and all kinds of other filth would be piled up right where you had to walk in and out.

  1. The "accountability" is practically nonexistent. If you raise a ticket for an issue, don't be surprised if they simply close the ticket without actually resolving the problem.

The geyser in my room didn't work for almost 2 months of my 3-month stay. I was told it would be, at maximum, a one-week issue. It wasn't resolved until after I had already moved out.

If I'm paying for a service, I expect to actually receive that service.

And this wasn't an isolated incident. Whenever you call someone to follow up, they'll either stop picking up your calls, blame someone else by saying "we weren't informed earlier," or tell you that the person responsible has left Stanza.

At some point, you just get tired of chasing people for things you're literally already paying for.

  1. They ruined my clothes in the laundry. Stanza has a resolution process for this, including compensation/refunds for damaged clothes. I followed the process and kept asking them for a resolution for almost 2 months.

Despite constantly following up, they simply failed to provide one.

  1. They also lied about the PG being girls-only. When I moved in during April, I was specifically told that this was a girls-only PG and that there would be a female captain for security.

Firstly, there was never a female captain.

Secondly, one fine day, they came up to our rooms and informed us that they were converting the PG into a co-ed property. We were told that if we had a problem with this, we could shift to their other PG, Frankfurt House, nearby.

When I asked when exactly this change would happen, I wasn't given a date. My parents then called the Stanza executive we'd been in touch with, and he said the change would happen around July-August.

Since my move-out date was in June, I didn't really care and went on with my life.

Imagine my surprise when I walked into the PG one day and found a bunch of guys casually lounging around.

So apparently, July-August meant "whenever we feel like it."

To make matters worse, one day while I was sleeping, a male staff literally opened my door and entered the room without mt consent to show the room to some other female. Of course, thia matter was also never addressed. Imagine how unsafe it is that I as a female wake up to a man unlocking my room's door from the outside to show the room to someone.

  1. The room inspection was another mess. During my room check, they emailed me a document containing pictures of a completely different room and tried to charge me damages based on those pictures.

When I confronted them about it, they instead charged me for a chipped side of a table.

The funniest part? It was a table that had recently been moved into the room in that exact condition.

So apparently, I'm responsible for damage that was already there before I even had the furniture.

The worst part isn't even that things went wrong. Things can go wrong anywhere. It's the complete lack of accountability every single time something does go wrong.

You raise a ticket → they close it without resolving it.

You call → they stop picking up.

You follow up → they blame someone else.

You ask for a resolution → suddenly that person has left Stanza.

And all of this while you're paying them a pretty hefty amount every month.

If you're considering Stanza Living in Koramangala, please think twice.

Urgent Help Needed: DigiLocker App Not Updating or Installing

Earlier the app wasn't updating. Then I tried uninstall and reinstalling but that didn't work either. I don't have any apps hidden, and neither do I have my developer settings turned on.

First Time Trying Such a Look (Tips Please!)

I have a round eye shape, so I usually keep my eye looks limited to very minimal doe eyes (only brown eye pencil, sometimes a taupe eyeshadow).

I've been watching Euphoria recently, and was inspired by Maddy's eye look to try something similar - so, here is my attempt at a smokey eye look.

Since I don't own much eye makeup (like I said - I keep it minimal) so my colour pallette was limited to shades of brown. The lighting also wasn't very good in my room so it couldn't be captured properly in the picture.

Tips and advise would appreciated!

Products used: Maybelline eyeliner, Kay Beauty kajal, NYX eyeshadow palette
