Anyone Coming From Udaipur to Gurgaon

Hey everyone,

I am currently running into a massive headache trying to clear my Tatkaal passport verification, and I could really use some advice or insights from anyone who has gone through something similar.

Here is the exact situation:

My father has passed away, and there is no Aadhaar record or live authentication available for him.

The C/o (Care of) address field in my Aadhaar has a minor spelling mistake in my father's name.

When I went to the official Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) here to get the spelling corrected, the staff flat-out refused. They insisted that they cannot touch or edit a father's name without the parent's live Aadhaar card/verification—which is impossible for me since he is no more.

Meanwhile, when I consulted Passport Seva, they advised me that instead of chasing a dead-end correction with UIDAI, a cleaner workaround under modern guidelines is to completely remove the C/o field/father's name line from the address structure, since the C/o line is technically optional for adults.

My core questions for anyone who has faced this:

Has anyone successfully cleared a passport verification (especially Tatkaal) with an adult Aadhaar where the C/o line was left blank or omitted?

Does the ASK or other centers allow completely deleting the C/o field without demanding deceased parent documentation, or do they push back?

Will passport police verification officers flag a missing C/o field on Aadhaar if my other 3 primary documents (PAN, etc.) match my own name and details properly?

If anyone has dealt with a similar mismatch for a deceased parent during an urgent passport process, please let me know how you resolved it. Any tips would be a huge help!
