Getting TFO - account manager, commercial retail broker

I've been in the industry for over 15 years and I'm contemplating a career change. I know I have transferable skills but I'm feeling totally adrift at what to even consider might work for me. I'm interested in hearing from others who are here, who have been here, I'm even interested in knowing what your former colleagues moved into!

It feels a bit pathetic to still not feel called to do something meaningful but here I am.

46 year old make-up newb - advice please

I've never really gotten into make-up; even when I was in my 20s I felt that it sits on my skin in a cake-y manner.

I decided to try again - I bought the L'Oreal Truematch hyaluronic serum foundation to try over the weekend

I prepped by exfoliating last night, moisturizing last night and again this morning (with rosehip oil, Skin Food) which usually keep me flake free even in the most brutal winter weather.

I didn't use a primer. It's so cake-y! Make-up just confounders y me. What can I do? What should I try? Was my first mistake a drugstore foundation? It was well reviewed!

Comfortable place to chill and read on a rainy day?

I want to sit and read, preferably not at a table, drink a glass of wine or iced coffee or two. Not silently but not too loud. Gatineau or Aylmer, is there a coffee shop or resto I'm overlooking?

Question about MPI and bodily injury

I was unfortunately involved in a car accident while visiting Winnipeg awhile ago. The driver of our vehicle is at fault. It was low speed, thankfully. Anyhow, the other driver or his passengers are trying to make a claim against my auto policy from another province for bodily injury. MPI is no fault and is supposed to cover their drivers and passengers for bodily injury. I will be calling MPI to gain more insight but wondered if anyone has encountered such a scenario before.

Aside: the MB driver was operating an Uber or Lyft or similar and is not insured to carry passengers for hire.

34H one piece swimwear with tummy control?

It seems that Elomi and Curvy Kate don't really carry a suit that meets my needs. I have a great two piece but would love a one piece that holds me in, in the bust and stomach area. Does anyone have any suggestions for brands I might not know about?

Power Broker

Does anyone still use this system? I legit had not heard it mentioned since the 90s and now I'm working with a new hire who won't stop talking about how amazing it is like we are in the dark ages on Epic.

Multiple skin issues flaring up in child (molluscum, ringworm, elbow bumps + mystery rash)

In short, WTF is going on?

In long:

My son just turned 8 and is plagued with so many skin issues.

Molluscum (not pictured, I think we all know what this looks like). one spot appeared in early 2025, 2 months after our first and last visit to an indoor waterpark. I understand this can take 18 months or more to clear up. My son has had many spots pop up and resolve. About 3 weeks ago I started covering then with pimple patch stickers or waterproof bandaids which appears to be greatly speeding up the life cycle of these things. So far, they aren't in great clusters but he has about 20 spots I'm currently covering in different stages.

Ringworm: patch on back of calf, large patch inner thigh, almost completely resolved, applying clotrimazole 2% every day for two weeks.

Suspected Frictional lichenoid dermatitis - this showed up 2 days ago on knees and elbows. I freaked out thinking it was more molluscum but after hearing that my son had been crawling around at recess I believe it is this FLD business.

Heat rash/reaction of some sort: appeared in past 24 hrs. It got very hot after a cool spring all of a sudden this week. Seems to be showing up where we apply sunscreen/where he is hit my the sun (knees as he wears shirts and knee socks, arms where t-shirts end, back of neck and checks around ears on dude of face. Itchy. I gave him Reactine before school this morning and it seemed to help with the itchiness.

What on earth is going on?!? He is otherwise "healthy" I believe and isn't prone to lots of colds or illnesses but I'm worried something is haywire with his immunity nonetheless. Does anyone have thoughts? He's miserable and self conscious.

I'm hoping someone here will have had a similar experience and know what I should do here.

Years ago, I had a mammogram then an ultrasound then a biopsy (all clear in the end) (first images were from the Montfort but everything that followed was at the Gatineau hospital).

I've finally had another, this time done at Radiologix so they don't have my previous records, and I'm being referred again for further testing of what sense to be the exact same thing as before.

I'm wondering if I should be alerting *someone* ?? to share my previous results with the clinic and how I would do so.

It's a bit strange/confusing that there's a Quebec-wide diagnostic program but they don't talk or see patient information from one clinic to another.
