My Boy Goes From Sunbathing to Vent-Bathing Like Clockwork

This crazy boy will lay out on the deck for about 30 minutes, then come inside and head straight to our bedroom. He flops down by the bathroom door where he can catch air from both the bedroom vent near the window and the bathroom vent. Once he’s cooled off, he’s ready to do it all over again. Anyone else’s dog have a carefully planned heating and cooling routine? 😆🐺

User Flair Required

To help maintain community participation standards, user flair is now required for commenting, in addition to the existing posting requirements.

If you’re not currently a sitter or pet owner but still enjoy animals and would like to contribute to discussions, please select the “Pet Lover” flair. This flair allows you to comment and remain an active member of the community.

To get a user flair, go to the home page of the r/RoverPetSitting subreddit. Then click the 3 dots at the top right of the page. There will be an option for USER FLAIR.
On a computer/laptop/desktop? Still go to the homepage and the options for USER FLAIR should be on the right of the page.

User flair is NOT the post flair (general/boarding/etc). It is to distinguish whether you are a sitter, an owner, or both.
If you have any other questions, feel free to send a Mod Message or comment below. Hope everyone is having a great week!

How is Finn Little NOT related to the Jonas Brothers?

I have been watching Finn Little since he was a kid in Yellowstone. Now we’ve been watching Dutton Ran h and I can’t stop thinking about how much he resembles the Jonas Brothers. It’s not an exact match to any one of them, but he looks like he could easily be related or fit right into a family photo with them.
Does anyone else see it, or is this one of those “once you see it, you can’t unsee it” things?

Mini Doggy Daycare Session

Our family member that lives with us started doing sits on Rover recently. This is her first client that is a house sitting. The owners sold their house yesterday and the possibly new owners wanted an inspection today, so this girl needed to be out of the house. Unfortunately, the family member was already signed up to work their other job for a few hours and couldn’t take her with them. At first our pup and her were unsure of each other and we kept them separated by a gate, but after a walk they were fine. She was actually more dominant and hated our pups talk/bark. And can you believe this puppy face is actually 7-9 years old?

Alarm Mode Activated

Our husky is usually just a dramatic, talkative guy, but earlier he went into full-on alarm mode barking for a solid minute straight — genuinely unlike anything we’ve ever heard from him before. Anyone else’s dog ever do this completely out of nowhere where it’s a completely different tone of bark?
