For whatever reason, there’s an ant infestation that showed up underneath my desk today. I tried to wipe the area down with water to see if I had missed a spill or anything like that, but no luck. There’s so many ants. I can’t sleep. Nothing is open to buy bait or get rid of them and I don’t even know where I’d start anyways.

I’m terrified they’re going to spread to my whole apartment and come bite me while I sleep. I was doing really well on Luvox and I feel like it’s doing nothing to help here. I keep going back as a compulsion to kill a handful of ants at a time even though it won’t make a difference.

edit: apparently killing them makes it worse so I’ve made the problem worse. I’m not going to sleep any tonight, am I?

I upped my dose about 6 days ago and I’ve been feeling pretty crappy, and especially bad today. I’ve had different side effects than usual from my other meds and I’m terrified I’m developing serotonin syndrome. I know I’m on a lower dose so it’s unlikely but I just cannot stop spiraling :( I don’t know how to calm myself down. I’ve had some of the symptoms and I don’t understand how I’m supposed to reasonably gauge if I’m actually sick when I’m really sensitive to meds, and have health anxiety OCD. I wish my heart rate would at least calm down.

I heard two odd noises from my unit. The first one I heard twice, it almost sounded like something was falling? Then it made this odd gurgling noise for a couple of moments. It still appears to be working as normal otherwise since it’s still cooling, is this any concern?

I used resolve carpet cleaner on a small patch of carpet for a spill. Do I REALLY need to vacuum after using it? My vacuum is broken. Can I just get away with blotting with water? Instructions seem to imply it’s necessary for the foam to get picked up.

Very NSFW warning. But I spilled a small amount of lube on my blanket, bedsheets, and carpet and I am LOSING my mind. It apparently doesn’t bother me to use to properly and have it touch my skin normally, but it gets in a slightly different spot and I am SPIRALING. I blotted it on the sheets and carpet, I lost where I spilled it on the blanket. I am on the verge of a panic attack because I don’t have time to wash my sheets and blankets before bed and I have to sleep on this. Oh my god. And I am scared blotting it on my sheets will somehow cause my mattress protector or mattress to mold.

I know I wouldn’t have cared about this five years ago, I would’ve gone to bed as normal. I can’t believe I am going spiral so badly after this and I can’t calm down. I popped a hydroxyzine and still can’t. This is so dumb.

I put in my credit card code wrong for an online purchase and I'm freaking out. I think I'm either going to go to jail for some sort of fraud or other legal trouble. Why did the purchase go thru?? Fuck. Why am I like this? I'm supposed to be relaxing after work and I'm going to spend it all crying. I don't even remember which card I put it on to check with my CC company.

My apartment started smelling faintly musty a couple months ago, mostly in my living room. The smell has spread to my bedroom as well. It’s not as strong in my bathroom or in closets. I have no idea what’s causing this! I’ve had my air filter changed recently so I doubt it’s that. It‘s messing with my head. I am quite behind on my cleaning due to depression but if I knew what was specifically causing this I’d fix it, as everything I need to do is going to take me days. There’s no garbage on the floors or anything. I have also determined it’s probably not my drains from snaking/cleaning them (except kitchen sink.)

It’s not a 24/7 issue, there’s some days where I don’t notice it for whatever reason. If I keep a window open for several hours it usually helps but it comes back.
Please help! I am so desperate to have my home not smell awful.

I bought some dishwasher cleaning tablets but I don’t know if there’s something else I need to do. I don’t know how to clean my dishwasher, no one taught me and the other advice I’ve seen is confusing me. Please help!! I rent if that affects anything. It’s honestly been a year without cleaning

Model appears to be a whirlpool WDT720PADB1. Says clean monthly with afresh. I don’t know if I need to clean a filter or anything else. I found a manual but it doesn’t say anything about a filter in the cleaning part.

edit: found a second manual and this one says I do need to clean filters. im so lost.

I went a year and a couple months without cleaning my dishwasher because it never crossed my mind. I just ordered some stuff to clean it but I don’t know if there’s something else I need to do. I am convinced now that I have been poisoning myself with filthy dishes. Fuck. There’s always so much shit to clean. I genuinely might lose my mind.

F24. I started a low dose of Luvox 25mg a couple weeks ago. I’ve noticed some slight vaginal dryness. My main concern is that after any type of penetration, fingers, a dildo etc, I bleed during and for a day or two afterwards now! One time there was pain, the others did not. There is a combination of red and brown blood. I am finding this incredibly distressing and embarrassing. Lube does not seem to help, so I’m not sure if it’s actually being caused by the vaginal dryness. Is this a possible side effect of the Luvox, or do I need to visit a gynecologist? If it’s the Luvox, is there anything I can do to prevent the bleeding?

I am on a couple meds for my OCD like hydroxyzine and Luvox and I am absolutely terrified I’m accidentally going to consume grapefruit and make myself very sick. I check labels vigilantly but obviously can’t in restaurants. Does anyone know how to cope with those OCD fears that are almost valid? I know the chances of accidentally having it if I’m not actively having grapefruit flavored stuff is low, but I am so scared there will be some in a mocktail or something and I won’t realize. Had a melon flavored drink today and my brain keeps going what if there was grapefruit? I have an upset stomach and am very tired and I’m scared I’m going to die in my sleep.

I’ve been taking Luvox 25mg for about three weeks. I’m very sensitive to medication so i start on low doses. It appears to be helping me, but I’ve started developing these horrible night sweats. I did not have this symptom the first week. It’s making me really unhappy when I go to bed that I know I’m going to wake up like that. I’ve started sleeping in colder temps and it hasn’t helped.

Does anyone know how to deal with this side effect? Will it go away? I am concerned that this is a long term effect because my other side effects have gotten a little better, but this hasn’t. It’s making me unexpectedly miserable. I had some night sweats on Zoloft too but they were not as severe.

F24. I’m taking Latin FE and at some point earlier this month, I believe I took an extra pill. My doctor said to continue the rest of the pack as normal. I usually skip a month of my period, two packs continuously. This is my first month, I’m thinking I will go thru the placebo this time though since I’m timing for a vacation. 

I also take 25-35mg of hydroxyzine daily and Luvox 25mg.

My question is, would it make a difference if I had actually started the pack early on accident or lost one of those pills? I’m worried I won’t be protected or there will be negative health consequences. I’ve been on a lot of other medications where it’s not medically safe to miss a pill or go cold turkey. Is this one of them? Are there any negative repercussions health wise if I were to have missed a pill and never made it up?

I’m not concerned about pregnancy as I primarily take the pill for irregular and painful periods. I just want to make sure there’s no health consequences!

I’ve been taking it about a week. I know it takes time for these medications to work but now I’m terrified I have serotonin syndrome and am going to die in my sleep. I want to quit taking these so badly even though the only real bad side effect I’ve had is drowsiness. This is the only medication I’ve taken that hasn’t caused me unbearable stomach or bladder issues and I am still convinced it’s going to hurt me.

F24. I let my Luvox 25mg dissolve on my tongue for a couple seconds by accident since I didn’t have water and have been feeling kind of unwell since. Kind of out of it and nauseous. Is this a coincidence or should I be concerned?

Also, are kiwis (I specifically ate the ruby red ones) safe to eat on this drug? I had two earlier but saw someone else talking about how you’re not supposed to eat those on SSRIs but I literally don’t see anything online except grapefruit.

I forgot to ask my doctor and they won’t be open until I’m at work tomorrow! I need to wear a bra to my office job for obvious reasons, will an underwire interfere with a vital patch/holter monitor or potentially hurt me? The guide says not to wear tight clothing so I feel like that rules out any of my sports bras. All I have otherwise are underwire bras and I’m not sure if the metal is an issue, or if the cup being on only part of it might mess with things.

I have a holter monitor and without really thinking about it, I set up a magnetic white board for my fridge. Could the magnets have potentially damaged or ruined it? Do I need to take it off my fridge too to be safe? My doctor didn’t mention this to me, so I don’t know how far away I would need to stay, or if it’s not relevant to my type of monitor.

I’m assuming this wouldn’t hurt me either.
