Dining Recommendations!

Hey, y'all! I'll be visiting with my family next month, and I'm looking for dining recommendations for a date night for my wife and me. I'd like to take her somewhere nice. No chains. I searched around and found Brother Fox, which looked different and interesting - I went ahead and booked a reservation, but we are open to changing that up. Send me any of your recommendations!

Also, anything to do or places we should go before/after dinner would be great as well! TIA!

Travel pour over questions

Do any of you travel and take a pour over setup? I have a portable grinder, I use a yeti pour over system (it could be better but I like it), the only thing I don’t have a solution for is a gooseneck kettle. Really a hot water distribution process at all haha. Any recommendations or systems you use?

Has anyone removed the back support in the crossroads?

I just pulled it out and of course it looses its rigid structure along the back but I think it’s a bit more comfortable that it goes along the shape of your body more. I have a trip coming up in a couple weeks where I’ll try it out more frequently but curious if anyone else has done this.

Picked up my first G Shock (GA2100)

Wanted something I could beat up a bit and wasn’t worried about wearing to the beach and pool. Pretty happy to far. Pictures make it look pretty bulky but it’s not too bad. So far so good!

Water Drainage Issues

So we have some issues with water draining near our driveway, and we are looking for recommendations for solutions. First off, the garden bed is entirely clay after the first few inches, which is why, as you can see, it just fills up like a pool. Second, you can see if you look closely, our yard and driveway come to a V in the middle, making it so that all the water that hits the yard/driveway ends up pooling right in the middle. In the side yard on the other side of the truck, we have a ditch that runs between the yards, which would be the ideal place to displace the water. I have considered a pop-up drain running under the sidewalk to the front of the yard or under the driveway (if I could run it that far) to the side yard to help displace it. I have also considered installing a shop-like drain in the lowest part of the V (in the existing expansion gap right behind the rear tires of the truck) that runs the entire length of the driveway, dumping the water out to the side yard.

Any suggestions or recommendations beyond that? TIA
