I have a question
Has anyone ever actually heard the term “broomhead” outside of the Degrassi universe? I’ve only ever heard it on DJH & DH. Was that an 80’s thing or something? Obviously it was an insult but I’ve never heard it anywhere else
Someone please explain. After the dance, when everyone is hanging out at the drive-in, Marty tells Rizzo that she caught Vince Fontaine, trying to slip an aspirin in her Coke. Did aspirin act as a roofie or something back then?
reddit.comI have a thought…
We all know that Punky’s mom abandoned her at a grocery store sometime before the first episode. Brandon was just a puppy at the time. What if he was a final gift for Punky. Maybe Punky’s mom got him for her, so he could keep her company and give her love after she had been abandoned. Did we ever really hear about Brandon’s origins?
Is anyone else’s little orange girl a chatterbox? Used to be the tortie was my talker, now Daisy is giving her a run for her money as a catty conversationalist
This woman takes victim blaming to a whole new level
Hint #1: This movie is also a good reminder that you should ALWAYS do background checks on the people that you employ
Just finished binge watching Degrassi Jr High/High and man, Wheels was such a punk…
I can sympathize with him, when he lost his parents ( I lost my mom when I was 18) but the way he treated his grandmother, even 2 years after the fact, was inexcusable. Rude and disrespectful. Constantly insulting her (calling her an old bag) and disobeying her. Never stopped to think about the fact that his mother was her daughter and that she was grieving too. Then when she finally had enough and kicked him out, he acted like he was an innocent victim who had done nothing wrong. Oh, and the fact that in School’s Out, he spent his whole summer getting drunk and then, stupidly, got behind the wheel and ended up killing a toddler. You’d think that after his parents were killed by a drunk driver, he would want to stay away from alcohol. He was just insufferable. Gotta give credit to Neil Hope for playing the role so well (R.I.P).
