Hi Folks,
I'm a guitar guy - my room is full of 6 strings but all the time I'm recording something (cheap Epiphone thunderbird -> Interface -> Parallax) I was looking to join the bass game.
Some weeks ago I purchased a D-Roc 4 string and I am absolutely in love with the extended scale and the FD3 pickups. I'm playing on standard C; mostly death metal stuff
ATM I'm using my Quad Cortex>Fender FFR112 but I was looking for something dedicated to the bass. The Infinity 500 combo seems to be great and I wondered If I should go for the Anagram or a setup around the B7K pedal (based on YT previews the B7K is the overdrive I like the most).
Anyone with the same scenario or owning the Infinity500 to give me some insights about the flexibility of that?
its like the 113th iteration but finally I'm done (changed the board till the size was perfect; re-arranged everything to access everything smoothly ...)
Specs:
Signal chain:
FX-Chain:
The signal chain got a/b/y splitted by the Lehle Dual. Thru that I can use the board for the JVM, the fireball or both. FX-Loop is JVM only; Cab is a 1960 with 2xV30 + 2xG12T75
The ESP Viper II Distressed on the second picture is my go-to for this setup. It has a JB/SH-1 combo (push/pull) and is just the ultimate versatility
I‘ve got a Fireball 100 + a JVM410 and was too lazy to plug multiple Inputs. For this reason I came along with the Lehle Little Dual II to split my Input Signalchain after Tu-3 > Drop > Crybaby > Zuul+ > MorningGlory > MuffPi > Tubescreamer.
The FX Loop (Mobius > AvalancheRun > BigSky > RC5) only goes into the JVM since Im using the Engl only for rhytm stuff
The second TU + Decimator is not plugged in - just there to fill the empty Space.
The board itself is a Rockboard 5.3

I would love to have a 5150 but its not suitable to my tower and a master is missing (not looking for an attenuator). The fireball was used in our bands practise room to act as a powerstage for my QC - from time to time I want to play it directly so I placed the FB100 at home.
The cab is a cheap 1960A but I swapped 2 G12T-75 to 2 V30. Both: the JVM and the FB are great for bedroom level playing
Then we've got the AC...dunno why I bought it. Two years ago I had a math-rock phase and the AC is great as a pedal plattform. Other than that I do not like the Vox
