Spent way too long researching webcams rabbit hole
Went down a rabbit hole last week trying to find a webcam for my yt videos and figured id share what i found cause the amount of outdated info out there is actualy insane.
Half the "best webcam 2026" articles are still recomending stuff from like 2020 and its so obvious nobody actualy tested anything. Just recycled lists with affiliate links.
From what i actualy found thats decent rn: Logitech c920 is around 69 bucks and still works fine even tho its ancient. Obsbot tiny se is 79 with ai tracking which is pretty cool. Emeet pixy is 89 also with tracking and 4k. Anker powerconf c200 is like 60 if u just need somthing clean and cheap.
But honestly the biggest thing i learned was that your mic matters wayyy more than your camera. I spent weeks obsesing over webcam specs when my audio was the actual problem the whole time lmao.
Dont overthink the camera just get something decent and focus on actualy making videos. I wasted like 2 weeks comparing specs when i couldve just been filming.
