MAHAKUMBH 2025 EXPERIENCE

I had the chance to visit MAHA KUMBH MELA🕉️ last year which is celebrated every 12 yrs and 2025 was special due to a certain alignment of stars🌌 and planets 🪐as per Hindu religion.. This is one of the largest peaceful human gatherings held at TRIVENI SANGAM, the holy confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.🏞️

The core reason for the Kumbh Mela comes from the Puranic legend of the Samudra Manthan (the churning of the cosmic ocean) by the Devas (demigods) and Asuras (demons) to obtain Amrit, the nectar of immortality.🍯

A few drops of the immortal nectar spilled from the pot and fell onto four specific locations on Earth -:

*Prayagraj (at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati)

*Haridwar (on the banks of the Ganga)

*Nashik (on the banks of the Godavari)

*Ujjain (on the banks of the Shipra)

Because 12 days in heaven equal 12 years for humans, the Kumbh Mela is celebrated at these four places in rotation every 12 years🌍

Picture 1- This is the holy confluence of the rivers and this is the place where everyone is supposed to take AMRIT SNAN - THE HOLY DIP. It is believed to cleanse your soul and supposedly have the power to remove all the negativity from your life.🏞️

Picture 2- We had to hire a boat from the starting point till the centre where the holy rivers met. Then we proceeded for the holy dip at the confluence. This moment was very special because as per Hindu religion, the time of the holy dip and the place of confluence had deep sentimental values for every HINDU.🛶

Picture 3- This was the SEA OF PEOPLE swarming towards the river so as to complete the dip at the holy time which was decided by some biggest preachers of Hinduism by looking at the star and planets alignment.🎡🎎

Picture 4- Artwork on the streets showing lord RAM ji with his bow and arrows.🏹

Picture 5- The elephant and her owner travelled from far just to attend the holy meetup of SADHUS and recite god's name in the form of bhajan (devotional songs). The elephant was especially trained to do NAMASTE (🙏) and greet people. This was a very wholesome moment.🐘

As a Hindu, this moment was surreal for me and these photos took me back to those days.

What makes HINDUISM endlessly fascinating is that it feels less like a historical museum piece and more like a living, breathing ecosystem🔱🕉️

DWC terra hyped or worth it?

I have seen a lot of recent posts about DWC terra variants and I think they had some sales recently maybe because there are a lot of posts saying that they received their order. Whenever I open their site it says that it's already sold out. The look is kind of unique and they have taken a bold step but is the hype around it worth it for their prices? Any reviews will be appreciated.

A must try Shawarma shop in patia, bhubaneswar

I had recently visited patia kiit square to meet a friend of mine and she suggested this shawarma shop to me. Personally I don't like shawarma in odisha because of the roti that they give and lack of flavours so we ordered only one PERI PERI Shawarma and thought to share. To my surprise this shop's shawarma tasted very good . Especially due to the pita bread and not normal roti.We both ended upon eating 3 shawarmas😅. The shop was named "THE KUBOOS" .She was from KIIT and told me her friends often used to eat from here. It was also very reasonably priced. I searched for them in zomato but didn't find them. If anyone visits them then do ask them to deliver through zomato (I forgot to ask them😅). I wish they had some stall near khandagiri. This is a must try spot. If you know some better shops do comment. Have you tried this spot?

TASTE 9.5/10

WAITING PERIOD 9/10

PS- These photos are taken from Google reviews to guide if anyone wants to try at their place as I hadn't clicked photos.

The first watch I had bought ( Had no idea though)

This was the first watch I had bought in the first year of my medical college back in 2018. I had zero knowledge about watches and just bought this Tommy Hilfiger watch for the sake of brand and looks. I still love the day date window. Had it for around for Rs 4.5-5k online after some discount. I have replaced the glass twice because it's too delicate. Still I love this.

In the lap of mountains

I had one of the finest trekking experiences in KEDARKANTHA last year. The chilling weather and the early morning summit struggle 🌅... uff 🤌 everything was worth it after reaching the summit.. pure adrenaline rush.. P.s- this was the last photo before my phone took its last breath due to hypothermia. [OC]

MUSSOORIE WINTER LINE

The Winterline is a rare and stunning atmospheric optical phenomenon that occurs during dusk, creating the illusion of a "false horizon" in the sky. 🌄
