Latest Updates from USCIS for US Immigration Applicants
USCIS is moving toward electronic filing for more immigration forms to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and strengthen fraud detection.
A few things to know:
- More eligible forms may eventually require e-filing.
- USCIS will give at least 60 days’ notice before e-filing becomes mandatory.
- You’ll need a USCIS online account for electronic submissions.
If you can’t file electronically, you may be able to request a waiver for undue hardship.
