Healthcare Provider charged me out-of-network and it not reimbursing me, how can I put pressure on them to act on my behalf?

Location: Texas

From about October to March, I saw a therapist about once a month. From October to December, I was being charged a $30 co-pay through my insurance. In January, I noticed that my payments were being charged at full amount (About $180) with my insurance notice-of-payment stating that it was now being considered out-of-network. I saw my therapist about 3 more times that year before leaving, but I had reached out asking why I was being charged out-of-network for the 3 payments. They asked me to call my insurance provider, which I did, who confirmed that the therapy company needed to submit reimbursements.

Three months of email tag and they have not yet reimbursed me and aren't responding to email and phone call communications and I am preparing to change my insurance provider in the next month. Question is what might be the best path forward to either pressure the therapy provider or pursue small claims?

Be real with me. Working on a battle rap visual novel and wondering which Hollow Da Don sprite looks better. 1st or 2nd.

Favorite performance from a battler who gets clearly 0-3 bodied

Mine might have to be Mook vs Bigg K. Took that ass beating like a champ and had lots of funny simple shit.

Things you hear when you know a battler is getting washed

What have been some of the most important moments in battle rap history, with special consideration for moments that occurred outside of an actual rap battle?

There was a great thread on this sub recently that talked about how archiving the on-goings of battle rap are crucial as we approach what kind of feels like the twilight of battle rap. As we build this archive, curious to hear what folks feel are watershed moments in battle rap.

Example could include:

  • Kool Moe Dee vs. Busy Bee in arguably the first recorded rap battle
  • Cassidy vs. Freeway
  • World Rap Championship 2007 tapes are stolen
  • Caffeine funding and subsequently defunding battle rap

What was the GrindTime style and why was it so hated?

In the brief time that they overlapped, SMACK rappers would often dog on crossover rappers like Hollow and DNA for being Grindtime rappers. What do you interpret that to be and why was it seen as a negative?

Sharing some spicy Skarner tech

Sharing some things I've been trying and that have been working for me that deviate from the norm jungle Skarner tech and am curious to see how folks dig it it or if its just sub-optimal.

  1. Summoner Spells - I always go exhaust

I find flash to be pretty underwhelming for Skarn because his e mobility already allows terrain skipping and the wind up animation present in all his abilities don't allow for optimal uses of flash.

I take exhaust because I feel like Skarner shines in an anti-carry role, primarily tanking and peeling, and being able to neutralize an assassin or marksmen is priority in all phases of the game.

  1. I always go a Bami as my first item

People say it's broken in a bad way this season. I find that the monster damage feels good and synergizes with how sticky Skarner is. I also feel like Heartsteel is a trap item and I only consider getting it if I'm facing a double melee tank comp.

  1. I prioritize shield breaking and heal cut in my 2nd item

Skarner easily applies damage in a wide area and I always get serpent or executioner if it's a significant part of an enemy champ that is doing well at 10 minutes.

How are folks building this season and is the most popular build working for you and why?

Kinda crazy that Jules ordering a cup of chili has more tension than all of S3 combined

Great example of how stakes are relative and how small crises can still feel enormous when given the room to breathe. This season has been so full of threats of violence and trauma and no situational awareness of what the characters are actually afraid of or want. Emotional drama > physical drama.
