I should've just listened...

To the left is an Emerald okra I kept being too lazy to pick and let grow way too long.

To the right is a perfect okra with just the right amount of slime.

They taste exactly the same but the too-long one is, as everyone warned, WAY too fibrous. Feels exactly like chewing mulch or toothpicks.

I've harvested almost 20 okras since I started the two plants some months ago, and while they're doing fantastic, almost all of the okras were harvested way too late.

They're all at least the length of my hand :(

Do you have a birthmark?

I have one and everyone who's seen it says it looks like Africa, esp cause it has a glob sticking out where the horn would be. It's sadly fading tho cause of my stretch marks.

I'll show you guys mine if you show me yours.

Can you actually move a chest without emptying it first?!

I have played this game for an in-game decade and am just now figuring this out. You can use an axe on a chest to scoot it over a spot at a time! Let me not get too happy though because when I first see it just jumping in one spot, it looks like a glitch.

I realized this when I moved the white one diagonal by accident. Then tried it on the grey one ✨

Yo, their Tea Tree Tingle body wash is FIRE, feels so friggin good, like I just came out of a spa

Feels EXACTLY like if you took Vaporub, put some on the top of your lip and on your chest, but the sticky petroleum gel paste went away easy peasy ❤️🔥💯✨💖

I wanna save this for allergy season when my nose gets stuffy but it feels so perfect with the tea tree in it

$5 × 2 bottles = $10 and I could replace this empty 33oz Old Spice bottle. Worth every penny :)

ORIF Club: Have you ever had your leg rod removed?

I asked my surgeon I think right after the holidays (broke tibia and fibula last July) if she would ever want to remove my hardware. I do remember her going a lot closer to no than yes. Or if at all, then definitely not soon, even though it's healed all the way. I want to get it all removed because now a year later I still feel like my ankle sticks outwards.

I do also wonder though if it's even possible without re-breaking the bone.

Is there a point in asking my neurologist to fill out the DMV Medical Report form?

Is there a point in asking my neurologist to fill out the DMV Medical Report form if I know they're gonna report my seizures? Should I just go ahead and turn my plate/license in "voluntarily"?

Would not getting one filled out now and just surrendering everything hold me back from getting my license/plate back after 6 months?

I got BA-ed some weeks ago and in the process, the cop that threw me in the psych ward snitched on me about my seizures to the DMV.

(As if I wasn't waiting for it to happen in the first place. It's necessary. Their job is to keep people safe and mine is to be a responsible citizen and not risk others' lives. I just wanted to enjoy the autonomy of life while I could.)

There's a bit on the form that says give it to the physician that knows you the most. The issue is, that would be my neurologist. I am only now getting a new Primary Care Physician after 1 year of not having one.

I'm in Florida if that helps.

Disabled Adults: Do your best friends have either of your parents' phone numbers?

✅ Vote anyways even if you aren't disabled, I don't mind. I wanna know if it's weird at all to anyone else.

I (25F) have a seizure disorder and although it's for the good reasoning of notifying my mom when I have a seizure, I still disliked that my friends and mother had numbers exchanged.

I solved it better with more reasoning and understanding in mind after a tiny argument with my mom but I feel like a true *asshole* right now. More towards my friends.

I felt this way though partially because my mom paid one of them to go make sure our house was locked when we went out of town one day.
