so I have a problem lately where my armies get completely wiped out for reasons I can't figure out

I just had a 34k army get wiped out by a 14k enemy army... in like, seconds. it was almost like the AI had a cheat code on or something. my army basically just disappeared. it happened so fast I couldn't even see what "advantages" the enemy had or what debuffs my own side had...

what the heck is going on here?

I've played CK3 for a while and never had a problem like this. no mods, just vanilla.

until recently it was possible to move from one enemy province to another without taking attrition, provided you occupied one adjacent province

but I feel like since the last update, I'm getting red skulls even when moving to provinces adjacent to ones I occupy

I still can't remove cloaks on my characters who are kings/queens

funny you can modify almost everything else in the barbership, and you used to be able to remove cloaks, but this features has been gone from the last few versions of the game

does anyone know a way to fix this? in console maybe?

do I have to install a mod just to remove cloaks? lol

funny paradox wants us to pay for all these DLCs but we can't even control basic features like this, maybe fix the game before you ask for more money? :)

does anyone know what this update is? steam trying to download a 2.5 gb update. can't see anything on dev blog, here, or elsewhere. not an old update as I played yesterday. anyone know what this is?

about half the characters in my game are holding something that looks like a stick or scroll. there doesn't appear to be any way to remove it in the barbershop.

what the heck is this and why is this happening?

character appearances are so fucking buggy in this game and always have been, but this is a new one

I am curious for others who have a regular trance practice -- do the long days of summer change how you practice? if so, what measures do you take to adapt, if any?

I almost exclusively do trance in the dark. for me it always feels a little strange to begin my practice when the windows are still light. I can stay up later, of course, but usually I just "make do" -- or I use something to cover my eyes.

do any of you use eye coverings during the summer? or do you use them in general? or do you change your practices in the summer months?

my genetic sampler stopped working.

no idea why. keybindings did not change. was working before. had about 78% suit power. weapons worked. just stopped -- both scan more and sampling mode.

any idea what's going on? this game is so buggy sometimes

so I am thinking about joining OBOD because I hear it is a good community and their course materials are good...

... but I am also seeing that they are very involved on Facebook?

that might be fine for people living in Europe, but I live in a part of the world where religious tolerance is low and "outing" yourself on Facebook would be a huge risk for many people, myself included.

I remember reading that they have their own private forum, too, but then why all the facebook groups? can someone still get a lot out of OBOD without facebook?

can anyone who has experience the group help me out here? I don't want to refrain from joining for something that isn't actually a big deal... but I also don't want to invest in something that I can't actually participate in because of safety concerns

looks great, bought on steam, won't launch. can't find any support. asked for a refund. not sure what else to do.

so my player character and wives are all wearing cloaks now?

and the option to remove cloaks is gone?

I feel this has been a bug on and off in the game for years now and that they finally fixed it a while ago. but here it is again. funny that such a complicated game can't get something this simple right.

any ideas on what to do? I am not playing with any mods. it's just annoying and stupid.
