Is a minimal skincare routine really enough?
I've been thinking about how complicated skincare has become.
A basic routine can be cleanser + moisturiser + sunscreen, but once you start dealing with acne, pigmentation, texture, ageing, etc., it becomes very easy to keep adding another serum or active.
We’re curious where people here draw the line.
For example, if someone has acne-prone skin, pigmentation/PIH, combination or oily skin.
Would you personally keep the routine very basic and focus on consistency, or introduce targeted actives one at a time?
And if you've simplified your routine after previously using 6/10 products, what did you actually notice?
I'd be particularly interested in experiences where someone stayed with the simpler routine for at least a few months rather than just trying it for a couple of weeks.
