When will GIMP 3.4 be released?
Any news on when GIMP 3.4 might be coming?
Also, will we finally get non-destructive text editing and an easier way to add layer effects?

I made this wallpaper in Blender and wanted to share it with you guys. It’s free to download here.
Any feedback, suggestions, or criticism is welcome. Thanks!
I recently started creating wallpapers for Linux Mint in Blender and thought I’d share them here as well.
I used to work as a 3D artist years ago, mostly in 3ds Max, but later switched careers to frontend development, so I’m still getting back into 3D – and Blender is relatively new to me.
I’d love to hear what you think about the renders, especially from people who use Blender regularly. Any feedback is welcome! 😊
^(Edit: You can download some of these wallpapers and see better previews here:)
Modern Mint Waves
Mint HexLumina
Mint Hex Matrix
Intustrial Olive Steel
Mint Minimal
^(P.S. Open source is awesome. ❤️)
I made a collection of wallpapers mainly for Linux Mint in Blender and I’d love to get some feedback from the community.
I used to work as a 3D artist years ago, although I mainly worked in 3ds Max. Later, I switched careers and became a front-end developer, so I’m definitely a bit rusty when it comes to 3D – especially Blender.
So I’d really appreciate your honest opinion:
- Do these wallpapers look professional enough to you?
- Would you actually use any of them on your desktop?
- Which one do you like the most?
Thanks for taking a look!
Edit: I knew someone would ask 😉 You can download some of these wallpapers and see better previews here:

I've been using GIMP for years, and before that I used Photoshop. The feature I miss the most is a proper Healing Brush. The current tool, which requires selecting a source point, often doesn't blend colors as well as I'd like.
I'd also love to see non-destructive text editing, so text can be scaled or transformed and still remain editable.
These two features would make GIMP even better. Thanks for all the great work!
Hi,
I made a custom icon for LibreWolf and I'd love to hear what you think about it.
The design was inspired by the work of diiscotheque, who created some awesome LibreWolf icon concepts. I wanted to make my own take on the idea while keeping the LibreWolf spirit intact.
A bit of background: I'm also a Linux Mint theme creator, and this icon will be included as a downloadable option in one of my upcoming theme releases.
Any feedback, suggestions, or criticism is welcome. Thanks!
Edit: A lot of people asked for the icon files, so I’ve uploaded the full icon theme package for Linux Mint.
You can extract the LibreWolf SVG from it and convert it into any format you need (including .ico).
Thanks for all the feedback 😊❤️
