is the video bad? no.

is the video good? not particularly.

is the story fucking dogshit? absolutely.

have they seriously just ran out of ideas? so many videos recently just feel like bad family guy cutaways. how the hell did they think that this plot would last 10 minutes?

the video isn't BAD, it is fairly funny and mario and meggy's dynamic is well written. the skit with bob was funny, and the desti reference was neat, but the plot is so ass that i struggle to look past it.

i'm aware i've been fairly negative about recent vids, and i cant tell if the recent vids have actually had big issues or if r/smg4 is rotting my brain. there have been bright spots, the character dynamics have been really well written, but the comedy is hit and miss and the stories are a complete shitshow.

i have no clue what the hell happened. last year was great. hell, even some of the earlier vids this year were good, but the recent few weeks are so hit and miss.

i'm worried about next week. it's the 15th anniversary and i'm worried how it'll go. if it's like recent years, we'll get a community post. however if we get a vid like the 10 year anniversary, then i have no clue what the hell will happen.

i really hope the writing improves, mainly in regards to the plots, because i'm getting real tired of bitching every week. if the quality stays bad i may stop the reviews. i have no clue how this subreddit stayed so negative for years. this shit is tiring.

4/10. jokes were good, but the story was terrible.

i really hope the vids become better because so far, this year has been very mixed.
