Anyone Else Modify Their Appliances? Plz share!

I just got a space heater and as soon as I plugged it in it loudly went BEEP. Then every button went BEEP. And I said, nope. No way am I having that sound in my head whenever I want to adjust the temperature or even just plug this thing in. Turns out it has a mute feature on the remote, but as soon as the unit is unplugged or loses power it gets vocal again. I feel like a bit of a crazy person admitting this, but I was not going to accept this. It was only $40 for the unit, so I took the risk and got out my screwdriver and went to work finding the little black cylinder housing the piezo disc, popped it open, and threw the piezo disc in the trash. Closed it up, and now it's PERFECT.

I've pulled piezos from fridges, cookers, etc. I put masking tape over displays or power indicators that don't turn off automatically (you can still see it, it's just dimmer depending on how many layers of masking tape). I've cut out tags in clothes, oc, but it goes much farther than that. I remove any decal or label that's not strictly necessary. I don't take all the labels off the condiments or anything, but if something is visual in my space I want it to be subtle. The same goes for sounds.

Does anyone else find themselves having to customize their appliances?

Reliable Somatic Stop Signal?

I'd like to know if anyone has experience reliably feeling a somatic stop signal when doing TRE.

I find all the advice to have a time limit, then watch for anxiety, insomnia, etc in the following 24-48hrs is really hard for me to apply in practice. I get these same symptoms unpredictably without any regular TRE, so there's just no way for me to tell the difference.

Currently after about 10-15 minutes of active shaking I feel an almost automatic wind-down. I can push through it but it feels very pleasurable to get still and just rest at that point. I'd love to hear if anyone else has found a similar automatic stopping point and if it was a reliable indicator of a healthy limit.

Thanks!

Excessive Self-Discharge?

My Ecoflow Delta 3 Max in consistently goes from 90% (recommended charge limit) to 86% in 24 hours, with no external outputs or inputs. The unit is on, screen off, not connected to Bluetooth or wifi. Lazy math says this is a possible background draw of 4w. Is that normal? At this rate it seems like the unit will drain itself to 10% (recommended discharge limit) in 20 days. The unit itself predicts it will be drained in 5 days (!) but I don't know how accurate that is. Can anyone help me understand if this is normal and why? Thank you!
