Salmon Dial 16570

It’s a polar but the salmon blood made it look pink (photo before the bleeding)

Great day out on Lake Michigan this morning

16570 polar, GADA

One of my employees graciously invited me to his wedding. Same watch I wear on the job-site goes great with the suit!

Truly a GADA watch, especially in polar, seems like it fits every situation well.

Cheers to great Saturday!

[WTS] [USA] VSF weighted day date 40 YG, custom lapis lazuli dial

Hello everybody! Got a banger from the personal collection for sale today. Only reason I’m selling is because it’s just too flashy for me and honestly I don’t got it like that so wearing this out in public feels funny to me🤣

This is a VSF DD40 in yellow gold which in my opinion is extremely close to genuine 18k gold, compared to my wife’s 18k jewelry I cannot tell a difference visually. VSF as always nails it really well and of course comes with a better movement than the other most popular day dates

It is in excellent condition with full links, currently sized to ~7.25” wrist. It will come shipped with its coffin, card, and all links

I looked closely and cannot find any signs of wear, running well, day and date flip over at midnight as expected, and has kept good time in my ownership.

I am asking $1,000 for this OBO SHIPPED and will include the genuine LV blue suede travel case as well because it fits the watch well.

Shipped from WI, USA, I will accept PayPal or Venmo for payments.

Thank you!

Have you ever bought a watch as a substitute and found it didn’t quite scratch that itch? Tell me your story below so I don’t feel crazy ⬇️

I initially bought this watch as a substitute for a Speedmaster pro, because I didn’t want to spend Speedmaster pro money at the time. Now that I’ve had it a while and worn it. I’ve found it hasn’t scratches the Speedmaster pro itch.

It’s a great watch, but I think for my collection as a whole, the Speedmaster Pro hesalite is what I need to go for.

These are my favorite four of the prospex releases over the last year and I now have all of them.

All great in their own way and all unique enough to justify the purchase (I think?😅)

Paid retail for none of them. But there’s a solid Rolex worth of watch value here at retail price which is a crazy thing to say for four seikos🤣

Quite niche topic here, I don’t think the SRQ055 has been wildly popular, seen hardly anything about it here or elsewhere.

That said, for those of us who’ve got it and love it, it leaves one thing to be desired- bracelet!

The OEM bracelet in true seiko fashion is, meh, for an otherwise incredible watch

I’ve searched pretty far and wide for alternatives. Besides leather or rubber (not my style) this I think is the best option. And unfortunately for everyone but me it’s discontinued🤦🏼‍♂️

The San Martin mesh bracelet, not only does it have quick release spring bars, but on the fly micro adjust, and removable links! I’m guessing they discontinued it because it was too expensive to make.

It’s awesome, it’s everything I hoped it’d be, and it makes this watch something I want to wear now!

My favorite watch in my collection, my 16570 “polar” and the watch I’ve owned the longest.

For the first 40 years of its life it was a black dial. I just got it back from RSC today and had them swap it to the white dial, which it will likely have for the next 40 years!

RSC did not refinish the case or bracelet, just bezel, glass, dial, crown tube, crown, hands and movement service
