Hey folks, my blood knights test model is “done” and I’m not quite happy with it. I wanted a mostly silver scheme because my head canon for my guys is that they were profoundly evil knights before they were vampires, captured a vampire and forced him to turn them so they could have even greater power. My idea is like, this armor is from when they were knights before. They had spooky armor even as humans. So I’m not looking for an all over red scheme as much as I’m looking for something more “realistic” if that makes sense.
I don’t want the armor to be rusty because they would maintain it well, but I added some verdigris to the bronze parts for visual interest. It just seems quite flat to me. I’m not sure how to increase the contrast on the armor without losing the scheme I’m looking for. I’m a beginner painter, so any ideas would be most appreciated, assume I know nothing because I probably do!
I have a career save in 3053 I could start from, but I have like 150M C-Bills and an absolute murderfest of a mech bay. I would eat those clanners for lunch. On the other hand, starting as a new career means I don’t have any good pilots and beyond the nightstar, not much in the way of capable mechs. That sounds like an interesting challenge, but also frustrating losing limbs every mission and potentially getting kind of stuck.
How have y’all been starting the new DLC?
EDIT: I meant the new career starting from Chaos Reigns. You have a Loki, Victor, Bushwhacker, Nightstar, a few 40-something capped pilots. I wasn’t asking if I should start over from 3025 I do not have that kind of time lol
Hey folks, when setting up my play area, there’s a black jittery rectangle right in the center of my view. This shows up whenever I try to use the passthrough cameras. However, the headset appears to work well and tracks ok—not perfect, it sometimes doesn’t track 1:1 when looking down and to my left and right. Anyone know what’s going on with my headset? Do I have a broken camera?
