I can't believe some idiot tried to throw this Apple IIgs system with printer in the trash! I stopped by the community electronics recycling bin to toss out some broken stuff, and I couldn't believe what i saw! I immediately rescued this from the dustbin of history and was thrilled to see what great condition it was in.... Not a speck of dust as you can see in the second picture (I did remove the battery, but no leakage!). Everything works great, and someone lost out on hundreds of dollars. No chance of selling it now, as it has a good home here surrounded by period appropriate decor.

B.A. Sweetie's is a candy wholesaler that is also open to the public. They have a huge collection of vintage stuff deforating the walls, including this gem!

What a great... "bad" item! At least there is one good episode!

Can't believe people threw these away! Well, actually, I can. The one on the left has a very weak battery, and the one on the right charges ok, but the scroll wheel is completely non-functional. These will certainly be nice display pieces if nothing else, but i can certainly use the mini to play playlists and such. I have a powered speaker has the old iPod connector built in. Hopefully, I can repair the wheel on the iPod video on the right. The one I have has become quite glitchy and unreliable. Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks for viewing!

I knew I bought this tape at one time, but I thought it was lost. It has always been my favorite TOS episode! I'm amazed at how good of a condition it's in. I think I only played it once to preserve it

It's ironic, as I bought the 1999 DVD of this episode at a used bookstore just the other day!

The guy there said a lot of people looked at it and commented, but I was the first to buy it. I'm like, why not? I love the tiny form factor and easy to charge via USB. Can't wait to put some apps on it!. What would be the easiest way to sync it, or better yet, directly transfer files over to it. Will it run most 160x160 resolution software? I can't remember how far back the backwards compatibility went with the newer models.

The Greek name for a baglama Saz is baglamadaki (μπαγλαμαδάκι ). This was very cool to see! There seems to be a lot for sharing of culture between Turkey and the Greek islands, including the drinking of Raki.

My daughter who is at Xavier called me in a panic with final papers due tonight that Canvas is down at the school. I am kind of her IT guy when weird computer stuff happens. I checked, and it's down everywhere in the world, really. She needs the rubrics and such for her papers and a few assignments. She can't get to them. There is no paper copy. What are you all doing about this situation? she has contacted all her professors, but she is very concerned. This is ridiculous!

UPDATE: As of 11pm, it's been been fixed!!! Talk about last minute!!!
