Hello all my name is Kat, I am really wanting to mod my car a lot more than just wheels and cosmetics but my income can only get me so far at the moment.

My question mainly is this; what lowering kit should I go with that won’t break the bank but also won’t make my ride horrible? I’ve never lowered a car before, only lifted. I don’t mind saving the money for a better kit but I don’t want to spend too much on this car honestly.

I believe my wheels are 18x9.5 +22. I have been told that is too aggressive for what I am trying to do. What would happen if I lowered it on these wheels? Any input is helpful.

Just hit 149k on the odometer. By far one of the best cars I’ve owned. Granted this is only the third one but I like it so far out of the jeep and ram. I’m fixing to lower it next. Should I do D2 springs or BC coilovers?

I have the 2.0L engine with no engine mods yet. The farthest I’ve gotten on my civic is a lip and the wheels. With the mileage being a little high and this being my first non American car, I’m just nervous. I’m sitting at 149,000.

I realize that’s just a drop in the bucket to some of you but please I would love yalls input on the newer models. I plan on it in the future just wanting to see my options and such. Also what is the importance of getting the SI for performance?

My ankle has been swollen and hurting me very badly since the beginning of this year. I’m wondering if anyone has had similar issues this far down the line. I don’t think it’s just the weather at this point. Yesterday I touched what I think was a screw on my ankle and from my calf down, I started tingling and it felt numb for a minute or two. My ankle swells very easily now and hurts like a mfer. Please any input would help I’m tired of the pain
