I’ve heard a lot of very bad things about Alienware as a whole, but i’m getting very mixed reviews on there monitors.
Are the monitors an exception?
I’ve never used an OLED monitor, and i’ve been looking at the MSI MAG 272UP for a bit.
For context, i’ve been using an Acer XB273 for a very long time and have been wanting an upgrade
I don’t know if what I want is good, bad, or if anyone knows anything of the same that’s better?
Thanks
I'm so sick of people caring whether an artist/song is niche or not. People will deliberately not listen to an artist if they are popular enough by their standards.
One example of this is something getting "tiktokified." It's literally the stupidest thing I think I've ever heard in my entire life. It genuinely makes zero sense to me how anybody would care. If something gets "tiktokified," then people will just automatically say that the artist and/or song is garbage, then make fun of people who listen to it. So many people care way too much about what others think of them nowadays, and they think that they're weirdos for liking music that is popular on TikTok. I really want to know what happens in the minds of these people, because they are so insecure and let society dictate their music tastes based on popularity. I want to know why these people care so much about the popularity of said music.
For example, relating to tiktokification, I was listening to Pantera the other day while scrolling on TikTok. A video relating to Pantera came on my FYP, and there were just so many comments like:
"they done tiktokified pantera gg"
"aaand now its music stream"
"poser"
I don't think that I can actually comprehend this type of behavior. TikTok comments might be becoming stupider than Twitter comments, and that's a serious take.
Another term that really pisses me off is "larper," "larping," and "larp." Music is literally fucking meant to be listened to, and they think that they can't listen to artists that have more than 100 listeners because it isn't niche enough.
Am I the only one that sees it this way or gets aggravated by it?
