Quicktime .mov files exported from Toon Boom Harmony are Blue and choppy

Been having this issue for a few years, everytime I've done a final animation export with specific settings in Toon Boom Harmony, the file always plays blue and choppy in VLC media player, but plays perfectly fine in the Quicktime player.

I export the files with a colour depth setting called "Millions of Colors+" in the export settings in Toon Boom Harmony.

I have reinstalled VLC media player and reset my unchanged settings, but I can't really figure out the exact reason why this happens in VLC media player. Help would be appreciated because this issue is a little annoying to be honest.

Painted Precursor orbs!

Hi, me again on my 3d printed orb fixation,

In the last couple weeks I bought an new airbrushing set up and started painting a handful of orbs (literally I grabbed a handful, like 12) with the intent to get them looking pretty good!

Luckily paint sicks to 3d printed resin pretty well without issue so I didn't need to worry about priming and such.

The main process is:

1- Taking the white orbs and placing them on small pieces of BluTack either vertically or horizontally.
2- Painting the orbs with Tamiya X34 Metallic Brown (use what ever paint you wish) and doing 2 coats on either side, giving about an hour for it to dry before flipping
3- Weathering the orbs with Kiwi Brown and Black shoe polish 6 times each, and dabbing the excess off each time where it will slowly build up in the corners and details. Give time for it to dry before each weathering so it properly builds up.
4- Lastly clear coat the orbs on the BluTack again, I used Alcald II Lacquer for the high gloss. Give it about 3 hours before flipping and doing the other side.

That's it! I am experimenting with 3 unweathered orbs now where Im swapping steps 3 and 4 and doing the clear coat before the weathering, in the hopes that it will cause the symbols to be less glossy and get a more natural look, Ill send updates here on how it goes!

For those who wish to try this themselves here's the 3d model I made for free, I resized it to 25% of the original size for these small orbs https://www.printables.com/model/1692116-jak-and-daxter-precursor-orb
And if you don't have a resin printer, neither do I! I got them printed at JLC3DP (not sponsored, they were just cheaper for me as an Australian), ordered 100 of them just to say "I got 90 Precursor orbs!", it was like $50 USD for all 100 so its actually a good price.

Good luck if you do try it!

Confusion with Ozito and Regular airbrush connectors

G'day, so I recently got into airbrushing properly after trying it a few years back with a cheap Ozito airbrush and a massive loud ass air compressor. I now have a nice small quiet compressor (with airtank and water catch) and a Gaahleri GHAD-68.

I was going through my shed when I found a box of craft stuff from when I used my airbrush last, and found my original airbrush along with hopefully still good Tamiya paints, Lacquer thinner and Alclad II Lacquer.

I noticed the connector on my old air brush is smaller then the connector on my new airbrush and was curious about finding an adapter, so I tried to google it just to be hit with confusion.

The quick connector I use for my airbrush says its a 1/8" male and female adapter, but the Ozito air brush also says its 1/8".
As you can see in the photo below, there's quite a size difference so I got zero clue how these are meant to both be 1/8" and I dont know if I'm just missing something in relation to the imperial system or what.

I know its a cheap airbrush compared to what I currently have, but I'd still like to have it working if I can!

Precursor Orb 3d prints arrived! Metal and Resin

G'day! So I posted once in here before about my custom Precursor Orb 3d printable model that I made based off the original game model (see model here https://www.printables.com/model/1692116-jak-and-daxter-precursor-orb ).

Today my order from JLC3DP arrived! 2 Metal printed small Precursor Orbs, 100 resin printed small Precursor Orbs, and 2 original model sized resin printed Precursor Orbs (that open into 2 halves)!

I got 2 metal ones printed as me and my brother have loved the Jak games since we were kids, so one is for me while the other is for him, same with the 2 large orbs that I intend to paint. As for the 100 small orbs....I honestly did that because I thought it be really funny, especially since 90 orbs is what you need for a powercell, I just need to get them painted and they should look amazing.

Unfortunate note is that the 2 metal orbs seem to be slightly warped in the direction of the print orientation, so they seem a bit squished (you cant tell from images easily, but its very obvious when holding)

Carmen and Lila meme I made while working on Episodes 5 and 6

Don't browse reddit much, but I saw the Spooky Month reddit and thought I should throw something fun, for pretense I'm a clean-up animator on Spooky Month.

Funny story with the Carmen one, the second I got the idea for the meme I had to make it, I hadnt even finished trimming the lineart yet. I think I said I was gonna redo it when I was finished, but never got around to it.

The Lila one though I had finished the shot, just didn't have the backgrounds yet, its still a fav.
