Bought cracked chicken slab for 300$. Would you reholder, crack or keep/sell as is?
The card does not seem to be damaged.
My holy grail arrived today.. tough find
For my Tomokazu Komiya Artist Showcase. Will post the complete collection once I am somewhat satisfied with it. I am currently almost complete with every art in my favorite version (most eng or jap reverse).
End goal is all arts in english AND japanese in normal AND reverse foil, also including every special printing.
The card is called Pokemon Fan Club New Year Present Post Card Jumbo.
2000 is the year i was born.. meant to be right hahaha
[d] What else could valve be planning?
I can think of these 4 scenarios:
Sticker removal from guns
Sticker tradeups
Limited item tradeups
Gold to gold tradeups (like 5 trash knife to 1 random knife same collection)
Anything I have missed?
With all the hype around hidden Pikachu lately.. here is my absolute favourite
I think it has great potential, with PSA 10’a only at around 100$ right now.
Hello again everyone.. first of all thank you for all the help.
I contacted cardmarket again and provided more info and explained the situation slowly again. I got an answer from a different support agent today:
He is basically saying that the picture attached to the listing is irrelevant. I bought a Mint card and received a Mint card. They offered me a 52,50€ refund, but they don’t see any fault with the seller’s behavior.
This is unbelievable to me.. the consensus of this sub was that the pictured card has to be sent, but apparently that is not the case.
I will respond to the ticket now explaining that the card I received is damaged (which I told them before already) and therefore not Mint.
I am pretty upset and confused about the whole situation. Not sure if I will continue buying like I used to on cardmarket with this lack of buyer protection.
Edit: They just released the funds to the seller and refunded me the 52€ without confirming with me.
2nd Edit: I got a quick response from the agent again who told me they can do nothing else about the situation as it is not clear if the card is actually damaged or just the case. He told me I should send the card to reholder and message support again if it comes back less than a 9.
I think that’s a pretty reasonable response and I will do just that. Though overall I do not think this sets a good precedent with pictures not mattering anymore.
I bought a PSA 9 van gogh pika and received a different cert than the one pictured.
Mine has damage inside the slab, while the pictured one does not. Can I demand that the seller sends me the card that was pictured in the one he attached to the listing?
Cardmarket support is telling me they can’t look up the cert since the seller blocked out the cert (he did not block the bar code).
I explained to support that they can scan that in the app but they ignored that part of the message completely. They want me to send the card to reholder by myself now.. which seems risky to me
What if it comes back a 7? I asked who will take liability and support told me they are unable to answer that since they do not know PSA guidelines.
PSA clearly states they will check if the card still meets the grading standards, so the reholder is an absolute gamble.
I’m completely lost here, I would appreciate any help. It's pretty disappointing that the seller is getting away with this because the support is not competent enough to scan a barcode. You don't even have to scan them to notice the differences in the barcode. It's obviously a different card.
I will attach pictures in the comments, thank you.
