What is your ideal $400 knife?
I've landed on $400 as my price point for a knife that I'll regularly carry. I've had more expensive knives that I've kept on a desk and cheaper knives that I've beat the crap out of but for me $400 is a nice balance between quality and functionality. I really like the quiet carry drift c. What else would you recommend around this price points?
107 Proof Review - Weller Antique vs Heaven Hill 90th Anniversary
Rue is 9!
What an amazing little (46 lbs) companion. Always ready to go on an adventure and one of the best bird hunting dogs I've known. She is getting ready for summer adventures and looking forward to another bird hunting season.
Orvis warranty
I broke the tip of my 10 ft 3wt Recon on Sunday. That evening I completed the warranty claim and Orvis had a new tip section to my door on Thursday for $60 shipped. This is exceptional warranty customer service. Doesn't matter if you are original owner to file a claim. Given all that we hear about slow turnaround times for claims for other brands I wanted to post a shout out to Orvis for great service. Pic of the Recon in action and a brown.
