Spent a week celebrating my miracle twins in the most magical way

My twins were born at 25 weeks so the future wasn’t clear for long time. BUT ten years later they are thriving and we were able to come to Disney to celebrate their major milestone birthday. Staff was incredible, most visitors were also incredible and encouraging my son when he was walking independently with his gait trainer. This trip we weren’t rushed like we usually are. A few stares and comments here and there but we have tough skin so that’s okay! What matters most is that they were smiling the whole time, even in the pouring rain!

Thank you Disney, thank you NICU nurses, and also thank you Disney sub as well for helping me plan and navigate all that comes with an epic week in the happiest place on Earth.

I just want to thank all of you who take the time to write your posts, whether they’re positive reviews or negative reviews. They really are helpful.

I wasn’t brought up in a Disney family however I was lucky enough to go a few times when as a teenager and once again with my own family in 2021.

Two of the times I went as a teen, my single mom planned everything which to be honest she wasn’t really familiar with anything so they were just kind of spontaneously done but very basic. They were amazing times though. The last time I went as a teenager it was through Make-A-Wish so we sort of had an itinerary kind of planned for us so no need to research.

When I went in 2021, it was during Covid and it was such a strange vacation. We took our twins who turned 5 there and unfortunately, they really didn’t get that magical Disney experience that I got when I was a teen but we definitely made the best of it!

Now I’m taking them again in October for their 10th birthday along with her 2 year-old brother and because of reading all of your posts I’m trying to make best to make it the most memorable vacation for them. It also helps a lot because One of my sons is disabled so seeing a lot of handicap reviews and comments have made things easier. 🙏

So if you made it this far, Thank you for all the reviews and suggestions because I don’t think I would be able to plan this vacation by myself with just Google. 😆

Bought my son tix to his first game! 11/15 it’s going down. 💙❤️

Also shout out to the person who posted that they weren’t having fees for that game! We live on Long Island and unfortunately, all the tickets in Buffalo are just too expensive now so even though I’d rather be in Orchard Park, we will have to settle for New Jersey. lol
