My ONT disconnects from my router about once per day as of about 2 weeks ago. When this happens, the red "Alert" LED lights up on the ONT and I have to power cycle the ONT to get it working again.

I have it connected to a 10Gb SFP on my router, and the ONT is uncomfortably hot to the touch, so I'm wondering if it is overheating. My house is air-conditioned and the ONT is on a shelf with good airflow, not touching any other equipment.

There is smoked Kahlua pork and lau lau at Uwajimaya right now. Are they made in-house or did they contract it out to somebody else? It's very good.

My spouse picked up an illness about 3 weeks ago with mild but annoying symptoms that have just been keeping us trapped inside for the last few weeks unable to do much. I got it from them about a week after they got it.

Symptoms are pretty mild, just a pretty consistent 100F fever, occasional headaches, and exhaustion, like being able to sleep like 16 hours per day and still feeling like we could sleep more. No gastrointestinal symptoms nor congestion nor sore throat.

We've taken combo flu A flu B covid antigen tests and they're all negative.

Any ideas? Anyone else experience this?

edit: had a quick telehealth appointment and was told the symptoms weren't specific or severe enough to point in any particular direction besides just a regular viral infection. He said to make an in-person appointment to get some labs done.

My spouse is a trans US citizen waiting on approval through C3 (in process since April 2026, applied urgently. G4 abroad, no certified docs for G0, born 1850s in Ontario).

We're looking to get out of the US ASAP. I've applied for an intra-company transfer through my employer. Would that allow my spouse to come with me? We've been married and cohabitating for years. I'm finding it difficult to find information about how the ICT visa affects my spouse.

I did the "slump test" and it triggers pretty bad pain all the way down my right leg, but not with my left, so I'm pretty sure I have sciatica.

That said, I also have severe pain below my right shoulder blade, around my lower ribs, which I think is too high to be the sciatic nerve?

Maybe I have two separate spine issues? Just trying to make sense of what might be happening before I try to seek out an MRI or x-rays.

I purchased a Cintiq Pro 27 and it does not appear to actually perform any palm rejection, it simply detects if the pen is extremely close to the screen and, if so, disables touch.

That isn't palm rejection and is borderline useless. Is there some setting I'm missing?
