So I recently bought my first psp and it came with a lot of games included in the sd card. I don't know anything about the psp system and how it handles memory and games, so now I'm asking from my complete ignorance:
Is my PSP modded? If so, how do I check what version is? And is there anything else I can do with a modded psp besides playing backup copies?

I'm planning to buy a Nintendo 2DS or 3DS and thought it would be smart to check out the communities here before deciding.
One thing that worried me is the large number of posts about hardware problems and repairs. Because of that, I was leaning toward a 3DS instead of a 2DS, but now I'm also concerned about the hinge issues on the 3DS models.
Which version do you think is more reliable / durable in the long run?
