So what causes a false fire alarm to be triggered? I updated my old SimpliSafe smoke alarms a few years ago when the combined smoke and carbon monoxide alarms came out.

Since then we've had two false fire alarms triggered on the downstairs unit. Once, we were out at dinner, and when I looked at the cameras, I didn't see any smoke or any issues, so we canceled that alarm. After talking to the tech, they suggested cleaning it with the vacuum cleaner, which we did.

Last night at midnight, there was another false fire alarm, and as soon as I got up there was no smoke, nothing, so we cancelled that as well.

Perhaps I haven't cleaned it right. Or is it a faulty unit?

Per an earlier thread on here, I didn't know that the Service Due! indicator had to be reset by a VW scanner. When I had my PCV done earlier this year at an Audi shop, they didn't reset it. Since their location isn't convenient, I went by the Cool Springs Nashville Audi dealer to see if they could reset it ... and they would for $114.

That's despite the fact that I have had many services done there. Talking to the service manager, he seemed quite perplexed that I would have done the PCV at another shop. Can't say that I am shocked but I am disappointed.

Hello, I'm getting the Service Due indicator which I'm guessing is different than just the oil service reset?

This is on a 2015 and current mileage is 68,000. I had PCV (and stuff) replaced at 65,000 and the next regular service isn't due until 70,000 so I'm guessing this is a leftover timed interval from the last regular service before the PCV replacement?

I reset the interval in the MMI but the Service Due is still popping up.

I have an old Stream Deck and I would like to copy the profiles to a new Stream Deck +. I know the buttons are different but I would like to copy over all the custom buttons I have created onto the new + and contitue to build from there.

Searching the interent seems this should be possible by using a "copy to new device" option in the profiles but I do not see this anywhere.
