European imports of air conditioning appliances are mainly originating in China, and approximately 60 to 70% of the European market is supplied by imports.
These numbers include appliances made in China but sold under the names of European, Japanese or American brands.

Imports of airco coming into the EU are heavily seasonal, have not been growing much during the last years, and are almost completely originating from China
