Feedback on ChatGPT recommendations

Visiting Scotland from U.S. on March 5-11. Going to rugby Six Nations match in Edinburgh on March 6. Planning on doing March 5-6 in Edinburgh. Then exploring other areas. ChatGPT advised to use Inverness as a home-base-type location to stay in to explore other parts of the county for the rest of trip (March 7-11). Ideally don’t want to have to change hotels multiple times. Have to be back in London anytime on March 11. I’ve read that Inverness isn’t great as a location to visit but can be okay as a home base. Thoughts and recommendations?

*edited was wrong about rugby World Cup. It’s rugby Six Nations.

Any English style knitters here and do you have tips to help with tension issues?

English style knitter. Learned when I was very young but have never advanced beyond competent beginner. Partially because I’m lazy. Mom who taught me was English style and very talented. Have adopted a more serious focus because it’s a stress relief and I enjoy the community. Anyone have tips or tricks to improve tension and just overall form? I’m…a lady of a certain age (i.e. experienced middle aged person).

How do people store their needles and other supplies?

I recently inherited a huge stash of needles and other odds and ends. How do people store their knitting supplies? Especially needles so you don’t have to dig through and figure out what size they are. Appreciate any recommendations!

▲ 7 r/BAGGU

I’m new to the Baggu community. I love being organized and am always looking for better ways to store things. Sort of like finding the perfect pair of jeans - I’m always looking for the perfect pouch. That made me curious - other than everyday purse-type use, what do you all use your Baggus for? I’m a knitter and wondering if anyone here uses theirs for knitting supplies? What are other fun uses?

I am struggling with this project! It’s my first summer tee. I would characterize myself as a confident beginner. For some reason, knitting this is making me crazy. I’ve chosen Ritual Dyes Undine yarn. I’ve never knit with a cotton yarn before. It’s like I forgot how to knit. I can’t hold tension - that seems to be my biggest problem. But also my stitches keep slipping and everything looks really messy. Could it be the yarn I chose? Could it be that I’m just not comfortable with a looser gauge? Is it because I’m a beginner and need easier projects first? Could it be that I’m struggling because I am an English style knitter? I’m surprised I’m having this much trouble.
