First month complete
Just finished my first month at .8 and moving up to 2.5. No serious side effects, but taking pill before sleep. Weight loss is down 8.2 as of this morning.

Upcoming colonoscopy
Really nervous about my upcoming colonoscopy next month. Really, just the prep. After multiple strokes just hopping up and hurrying to the bathroom isn’t going to happen. Sleeping in the bathroom also isn’t an option since I wouldn’t be able to get up. Is there some stories people can share?

I’m getting to the point where…
I’m getting to the point where if you purposely lie to Congress (supposedly the representative of us common folk) you should automatically serve 30 days in jail. Do it again, it’s now 90 days. If you are also a federal employee that 90 days is without pay and you sacrifice 50 of your pension - it is, after all, paid for by us. Maybe that will get all of their attention.

Had my hearing…I guess
Finally had had my hearing 21 months after my two strokes. Literally sat in the exam room two hours before the doctor finally saw me. He said they were waiting on Social Security to send him the questions to ask.
The exam lasted about 20 minutes. He just asked what I used to do for work, when my strokes happened, what symptoms I have. That was it. Today, I logged onto the Social Security site and found this.
