What can i do for a living as an autistic person?

Im a 23 years old woman who have autism lvl 1, ADD and OCD.

Im currently burned out but ill need a job eventually to pay my bills and stuff.

My ocd limits the work options a lot cus im afraid of jobs where making a mistake can have a lot of negative concequences. And im afraid of working in healthcare in any way.

Im bad at small talk, i usually dont know that to say, im better at talking if people ask me questions.

I hate being alone, i rather have coworkers to talk to.

I want it to be clear what im supposed to do. I dont like when things are unclear, an example is when i had job training at a secondhand store i was supposed to sort out the clothes that were not in good condition to be sold, every clothing item looked different so it was often not clear if the clothes was in good enough condition to be sold, so i often didnt know if throwing the item away was the right desicion and that was super annoying, i want to be sure that i have made the right desicion.

I dont like sitting still too much, i prefer walking around a lot.

Does anyone have ideas of jobs that could work for me? All suggestions are appreciated.

What is your best lifehacks for autistic people?

Feel free to share you best lifehacks for autistic people!

Here are some of my best autism lifehacks:

  1. Carry earplugs and sunglasses with you everywhere

  2. Keep food accessable close to your bed if you feel hungry during the night

  3. Look at someones forehead or nose instead of in their eyes if that makes you uncomfortable

  4. Use gloves when washing dishes or cleaning so you dont need to touch things with your fingers

  5. Use earmuffs while washing dishes/emptying dishwasher to reduce the sound of slamming porcelain

Its so draining when people talk loudly in the buss

Right now i sit on the buss and some people here talk very loudly nonstop. Im too tired for this. I have to take the buss everyday cus driving is not an option, but when people talk loudly on the buss sometimes it gets really annoying. Idk maybe i should get better noise cancelling headphones or smth.

I’m the master of awkward silence

My biggest struggle when interacting with other humans is that i NEVER know what to say. It feels like i only know what to say if i get asked questions, if the person im talking with is really good at keeping conversations going or if there’s a discussion about something that im interested in. Otherwhise it feels impossible for me to come up with things to say and there just becomes a bunch or awkward silence.

Can anyone relate or does anoyne have advice?
